"Black Angus is my favorite restaurant. The steaks were great tasting as usual, though the filet mignon had a tiny bit of fat in it, as did the sirloin. But the great flavor was there. Service was good as always. I lost one potato skin as it was sitting on top of the hot chicken juice, which I don't like. And the only other problem was that the shrimp cocktail wasn't cold - it was room temperature. That's very unusual for Black Angus. These little problems won't scare us away, however. We'll be back!"

"The restaurant was packed due to Mother's Day, but with open table reservations, we were seated immediately! It was great!
We ordered the special for two. By the time the our main course was served we were full because of the huge serving of the sampler plate appetizer, delicious bread and salad!! Our prime rib was cooked to our liking and of course, the meal ended with a wonderful cheesecake dessert.

"We sat in the dining room & had reservations. Last time we were seated in the Bar area (no reservation) and didn't like it. Too noisy with TV's on Lakers games. Two of us had Prime rib, one had steak sandwich & one the petit filet mignon. All Med Rare. All were great tasting & tender. The wedge salad is terrific. Mom ate every bite. I took mine home and had it for lunch the next day. Baked potatoes are pretty normal. The molasses bread can't be beat, except maybe by Outbacks variety. I would really have appreciated another vegetable side dish. Not just steak and potatoe. Corn/green beans?? Can't be too expensive to add to a dinner entre. Out waitress was terrific. Cheerful, effecient & entertaining. Good Place Resonable $"

"made a reservation for 7:30 and we showed up around 7:10. Got seated around 7:15, which was cool. Server was professional and nice. Food took a little longer than expected, but it was good. We were seated at a table that had a flickering light, which was pretty lame. Overall i would recommend eating here. I will be back."

"It took 45 minutes to get our steaks. The waitress seemed to busy too care about us and didn't even give us the house bread. I will not go back...can find many other places with good food/service to spend $70 on."

"you get what you pay for. I have been to this restaurant 4 times, and 3 times the meat has not be cooked properly. As far as the dessert, a chocolate cake ice cream fudge combo, the cake was stale. The service is always good, and for $39.95 to get two steaks, 2 sides an appetizer and dessert, you really can't go wrong.."

"Last year we went to the Outback for our anniversary and it was terrible. This year we went to Black Angus and it was great. My lobster was 3 times bigger than Outbacks and it was delicious and it was cheaper. The prime ribs were cooked to perfection and none were left on the plates. The only negative was we didn't have room for our desserts and had to take them home. Would definitely go back."

"I eat fairly frequently at the Northridge Black Angus. As usual on this visit, the food, service and atmosphere and consistently good. It is tasty, cooked well and satisfying. The service is usually very good, the servers friendly and attentive. On a Saturday evening, make reservations online after 6:00 p.m. or risk having quite a wait. This visit I ordered the pork ribs for the first time and my partner had the sirloin steak. The steak was cooked to order correctly, the sides of salad and baked potato good. The pork ribs were a little dry and not very meaty but the carmelization of the tasty bbq sauce saved them and I was happy overall. Generally a good experience although the food seemed to take overly long to arrive at the table."

"We dine here very often. The service and food are usually excellent, but this time they were not. Our waitress started out strong, but as soon as she got a few more tables of people to serve, she completely ignored us. We couldn't get refills on drinks, more bread, order dessert, get our check, get a to-go box, etc. We asked a bus boy for a few of the items we needed, but he never came back, after agreeing to help us. Also, we both ordered salmon, and it wasn't cooked thoroughly. We had to send the salmon back to have it cooked longer. It didn't have all the flavor it usually has. We were very disappointed overall."

"I had a very nice time the waitress was the best.. I have 2 complaints the glass of water taste like hose water and my salad taste like it had been sitting in the refrigerator with dressing sitting on every bit it was a mess!! Not happy with that!!!"

"We go to this restaurant often. We can tell that you have excellent training of your staff. Our server was polite and attentive. We used the 2 for 39.99 coupon. We were soo full when we left. We ordered the assorted platter to start and then steak and salmon with various side dishes. For dessert we ordered the fantastic mud pie and the chocolate cake with ice cream and hot fudge sauce. We couldn't have been happier. We told the manager before we left. It is a pleasure to write this review."

"The ability to make the on-line reservations was great and I like the fact that I had an email confirmation (which I did not end up needing but had it just in case). Walked in, put in our name, went to the bar and was sitted in the exact amount of time that we were told from when we checked in. It was great.
Dinner was good. The steak was good but not great that is why I can't give it a higher rating especailly since it is a steak house. Potatoe skins and salad were great. Opted out on the desert as we were full."

"Nice, but reservation situation was frustrating. 6:15 pm reservation on Valentine's day. We arrived and were told all reservations would have a 30 minute wait. I could understand if this were later in the evening, but not at the beginning of the night at 6:30. Like they were more concerned about walk-ins, on Valentine's Day, than those who had taken the time to plan ahead for our special

"Whenever we're in the mood for good steaks and seafood, we always choose Black Angus. I have been going to Northridge Black Angus since the late 1970's. I took one of my first dates there when I was 17 back in 1977!!! The booth we sat at is still there and I have told that story to my wife only every time we go there!!"

"Food was great; however, I do not understand why when you make a reservation, you still have to wait from 30-40 min. We were told this when my spouse and I showed up for our 7:00 pm reservation. And people who didn't have a reservation were told the same thing. Why bother making a reservation? Other than that, everything else was good."

"First off, I think it was great that I got emailed directly from Black Angus to advise me I could make a reservation for Valentine's Day. I honestly hadn't even thought about that night. It was very easy to do the reservation online. Secondly, when we got there, they told us we would have to wait about 30 minutes to get seated with our reservation and it only took about 15 minutes which was wonderful. And lastly, the food was spectacular as usual and it didn't take that long to get considering the restaurant was VERY FULL! We always get such great service and that is why we always go to the Northridge Black Angus :)"
