AZUR Restaurant & Patio
AZUR restaurant & patio was designed after European establishments providing the feel of being in a different place without leaving Lexington. Customers often comment that they don’t feel like they’re in a strip center in Lexington. The walls are bold blues and greens with curves throughout. The interior space flows outside through three sets of French doors onto the elegant stone bordered brick patio. Weather permitting, the patio is opened.

"Azur is our go-to spot to celebrate! Anniversaries, birthdays, new jobs, engagements, anything. Maybe just a Thursday night. We love the extensive bourbon list and the menu never gets old. New items join old favorites all the time. Daily specials are always amazing! I've never had even a mediocre meal at Azur! We also love it that the atmosphere is not stuffy. Everyone is always having a good time!"

"We had a great time at Azur. We were a little worried....we had 2 kids with us but we sat out on the patio and really enjoyed our dinner. We started w/jalapeños and baos. Yummy! 3 of us had wood fired pizzas, 2 had shrimp and 1 had steak. Service was great, patio seating was very comfortable and they have a nice wine list"

"Dining on the patio is delightful as was most of our meal. I had the house salad and a pizza. I do believe it was one of the best pizza's I have ever had and we sat near the pizza oven so I even watched it being made. My husbands ceasar salad was less than stellar but his gnochi made up for it. We love the ambience of the patio for a light sunday nite supper. Will be going back!"

"The food was well prepared and presentation was nice. I had the duck, and it definitely ranks as one of the best. We went on a Friday night, so there was some live entertainment which wasn't too loud and provided a nice backdrop. Unfortunately the patio was full, so we'll try it again."

"Decor -modern ,fun,very open. Outside was a small area looked fun but was full of smokers- ugh!
We called ahead and noted that there was a birthday in our group.( never acknowledged)
We were seated immediately .Derby was running and we were able to watch it from our table. Everyone in the kitchen came out to watch! Fun!
The sirloin with veggies -sirloin was warm not much flavor and was a lot of gristle .veggies - ok.
Our friends had the Deviled duck eggs ( they loved) the fried chicken with the mashed potatoes - very good!
Server was nice but never said anything about the birthday in the group even after I told him about it!
We called ahead and noted that there was a birthday in our group.( never acknowledged)

"After a very long day, I convinced a friend to join me for dinner at Azur. We were tired, but we weren't disappointed. We sat at the far end of the patio where we could hear the live music, but we could hear each other easily. The most difficult part of the evening was deciding what to eat - too many yummy choices. Great service, great selection and great ambiance."

"Chicken dish was creative and tasty, but the pizza was disappointing. Surprisingly loud. Service friendly and responsive. We were in the mood for a less noisy great food experience, so we probably picked the wrong place for those expectations. Would give it a try if in the mood for high energy. Everyone seemed to be having a good time."

The waitress was pleasant, but was hard to find. We had to wait for her to return, even to get water glass refilled. The Salmon in the main dish was too dry, although the rest of the dis was tasty.
In the past, I have loved the food as well as the quiet atmosphere. This was one bad day."

"This was my second visit and likely my last. The food was okay, not great, and one entree was not prepared as advertised on the menu--truffle fries came out as plain old fries. When I told the waiter he just shrugged and said "sorry" but did nothing to compensate us. Azur's wine list is odd and grossly mispriced relative to the entree price. My rule of thumb at restaurants like this is to order a bottle of wine that is roughly the price of two entrees, and little falls into this price range. What does is four times retail. Then you get into the $100 and up prices. A broader range of wines would be nice. We do like the room and the cocktails were great."

"My group of 6 started with the lobster crêpes, hot brown gnocchi, mozzarella tasting and the Vietnamese beef bao buns. Of these appetisers there were mixed reviews on all of them. My personal favourite was the bao buns. To go along with the appetisers we all had and greatly enjoyed the Georgia Peach drinks.
It goes downhill from here, two of our party ordered the pork belly special, it came out hard and cold, and these had to be sent back. They were replaced with the bourbon fried chicken, which was outstanding. I had the halibut and this was very good, as was the mozzarella chicken. The salads were good but nothing to brag about.
On to desserts, we ordered two of the ice cream sandwiches; the cookies were burnt and tasted burned and were"

"We came to Azur a while back and wanted more generic items on the menu? Seemed that EVERYthing was fusion / eclectic. We came back a few months ago and the menu had changed, food was fabulous, music was great !!! So when my sister's birthday was coming up and she asked for recommendations I said Azur. We came last week - 8 of us for her birthday and everyone had a great time and loved their meal. Something on the menu for everyone !!!"

"We enjoyed the food and the live music. However, it was way too loud to have a conversation with my date (my husband). Our server did not know what she was doing. She couldn't answer the questions we had and instead of finding out the right answer, she just made something up!
