Metro Wine Bar & Bistro
The Metro Wine Bar & Bistro has been at the cutting edge of food and wine in Oklahoma City for over twenty years. While always evolving and changing, the one constant at The Metro is the world-class food, service and a focus on fine wines paired with our wonderful cuisine.
Drop by for a glass of wine and an appetizer at the bar... or come to spend an evening of great dining. We can be as casual or as formal as the occasion demands.
We are open seven nights a week for dinner... and every weekday for lunch. We are open all afternoon on weekdays for a late lunch, early dinner or just wine & cocktails.

"Metro was always a favorite when I lived in OKC. I now live in Kansas City, but return to OKC to visit as often as possible. It has become a tradition to take my hosts for a lovely evening at Metro to thank them for their hospitality. Metro never disappoints. Food, service, ambiance-----tops!! Haven't found anything in Kansas City to surpass it."

"The Metro is a great place to celebrate something special! The wait staff make you feel welcome and special, and the service was spectacular. Your rolls are the best. I tried a new wine recommend by our waitress and I loved it...she understands her customers and had good knowledge of the wine list.
Our group of eight people had a birthday and two anniversary celebrations, we agreed we will come back to the Metro for future celebrations.
This was the first time I made reservations using Open Table and I like that service."

"Went in with high expectations. My wife had the special duck and I had the steak. While the duck was excellent my steak brought back memories of a bad steak and ale dinner. The service received a fair score as she spent most of the night apologizing. It just wasn't her night and sometimes that happens. Started when she accidentally threw the wine list on the table and ended when she spilled a drink. Had she not been awesome enough to bring our forgotten take home out the whole night would have been a fail.
We both agree that the ambiance was great, however the pricing and quality for the price of meal just wasn't there. I don't think that we will return as it just wasn't the experience we had been told it was."

"We celebrated Valentine's Day with Dinner at Metro. I found the atmosphere to be its strongest characteristic. The wine selection was a little small, but we still had great options. We started with an appetizer of thinly sliced beef with goat's cheese and capers - strach....(something like that; it's not currently on their menu) - a wonderful first course. Our entrees were very good, but not excellent. The halibut I ordered was prepared well, but the fish itself seemed of low quality. Observing other diners, I remembered that OKC is a beef town, and many of the beef entrees looked incredible. For dessert, we ordered the bread pudding in a bourbon sauce - the best part of our meal. I recommend Metro for a romantic evening!"

"The maitre de was very welcoming and pleasant from the reception. The waiter was friendly and very helpful with wine and food suggestions. Our 4 meals were all excellent from the salad, butternut squash soup to our entrees. The duck, pork and both Saffron dishes were all excellent! Would highly recommend when you want an upscale experience. Price was well worth it. Our waiter even brought a free dessert with a candle for our birthday girl, without any prompting. This is excellent service!"
