"We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Service was great. I had a voucher for a free entree but did have it printed out. Server allowed me to email the voucher from my phone to the restaurant so that it could be printed out and redeemed. She saved me from never hearing the end of it from my wife."

"Our second time eating here, and our review is the same. We only came back after the first time because we got a gift card for the restaurant. There are several places in town with food as good or better for far less money. They switched our order for how well done our steaks were. My tips were supposed to be medium and my wife's filet was supposed to be medium rare, but my tips came out medium rare and her filet was medium. They did take my tips off the bill. But, that doesn't make the dining experience any better. All together a pretty average dining experience at a very high price for the Quad Cities. The prices are equal to or greater than some better Chicago restaurants, such as The Capital Grille or Smith & Wollensky."

"The Chop House is normally a good choice. The atmosphere is fun, the food is great, and the service is normally outstanding (although we had our first disappointment on this visit). As a vegetarian, I always order the grilled vegetables. My husband swears by the steak. Hopefully, the bad service was a fluke."

"I reserved a table for my wife and myself for Mother's Day, 2013 at Bass Street Chop House. We have been there several times for dinner, and their dinner fare, wine and beer list are all outstanding. The brunch was good, but not what I would expect from Bass Street. To be fair, I am not sure if they regularly provide brunch.
The brunch was buffet style, and the restaurant was about half full, but the line for food was consistently long, and moved slowly. They had a good selection of fruits, pastries, smoked salmon, shrimp, roast beef, ham and eggs (not made to order)...
I will probably skip next year's brunch, but am looking forward to future dinner plans at Bass Street. Their dry-aged steaks are out of this world."

"Celebrated our 42nd anniversary with another couple.Side dish of hash browns with cheese was just ok; not impressed. Waiter was very nice but we waited a long time to come back after the meal. I know they were busy, but.... He was efficient until check came. Put one steak on our bill and 3 steaks on couple's bill. Had received email coupon for anniversary. Other couple also had a coupon. Could not accept two coupons at one table. WHAT? Our "happy anniversary from the Bass Street Chop House" was now DON'T USE YOUR COUPON! What a stupid policy! For the prices you charge, you should encourage people to use coupons or they'd never come in. We eat out a lot and will make this one of our less-frequented places!"

"My wife and I have been to Bass St a number of times. Its never "great" but usually good or ok. We decided to go there for dinner last saturday night after an early movie. The service was slooooow, our steaks were over cooked, the waitstaff was pleasant, but not around very often. the bill was well over $200... Also, the place was not very busy. Quad Cities dosnt have alot of options but this place wouldnt stay open for a week in chicago."

"We have been to Bass Street several times; however, this was the worst experience we have had. We went prior to a concert at the i wireless center so expected the restaurant to be busy. We would have thought; however, that the restaurant would be prepared for the rush of people and they definitely were not. I had to ask for a wine list several times and we actually had to wait in excess of 30 minutes for our drink refills. It was very disappointing.
Our waiter was very flustered; it was obvious. Thinking this is an established restaurant, an extremely busy night would not come as a surprise. Everyone was acting as if they had been hit by a mack truck of people."

"The most notable part of our dining experience was our server, Kyle. From the time he greeted us at our table I was sure our dinner was going to be exceptional. One of the first things he asked us was if this was our first time at Bass Street. Once he found out it was our first visit he spent a great deal of time explaining and highlighting the menu and specials. While our table was an unusual table to serve, he adapted extremely well and insured our dining experience was a memorable one. The food was exceptional and we certainly return to the Bass Street Chop House."

"Food was wonderful, but our waiter was more occupied in the needs of the table next to us. The couple seemed to have known the boss and our waiter made sure THEY were taken care of. And left our table and the table by us in the dust. We had ordered way ahead of that couple and they received everything first. It took awhile for our food to be served longer usual wait of 30 mins, but it was worth it. I recommended this place to someone who is willing to pay over $$$ for a bill. We were out for a special occasion other than that we normally wouldn't go to a very expensive

"Brought wrong order. Food was just slightly warmer than cold. Server was polite. Very loud and noisy. The prices...well...I heard they were on the high side and that's the only thing that met with what I was expecting. Save your money, use it elsewhere and get a more economical, enjoyable and tasty experience."
