"I eat there often. Food is mostly excellent. They know what they are doing in the kitchen, The front of the house is another story. Service on the front end is good up until the food is served. After that they seem to let you go and move on to others. This visit lasted almost 2 hours for lunch! If you go, keep on them. Don't let your server vanish. I would definitely recommend the place for good Italian food. Their special regional Italian dinners are a treat when they have them."

"Food is excellent--looks and tastes fresh, high quality. Especially appreciate that they don't toss garlic and/or onion in every dish so you can't taste anything but the garlic/onion, which most restaurants do these days. You can taste the real ingredients, the more subtle flavors. Nice wines by the glass. Our waitress was warm, helpful, and attentive. The only minus is the tables are a bit small. Also, the chairs are such that you can't hang a bag over it, so a place to put a lady's bag would be nice."

"We love this place. I cannot think of any restaurant which offers a better selection of excellent Italian wines (all the wines are Italian) by the glass and at fair prices. The food selections are not complicated and reflect high quality produce, meats, and other ingredients. We shall return .... soon."

"We've been to both L.A. Obika locations and the Century CIty location is our favorite. Raimondo, the owner, was kind enough to accomodate our desire to sit inside on the evening of one of their monthly regional dinners. We brought someone who had never been there before and he truly enjoyed his meal & wine. Our server Matt was informative and courteous throughout the enitre meal. High quality authentic Italian food in nice surroundings."

"Cheese was great! Raining so had to sit inside. Really nice lunch. I think my experience would have been better if I was on the patio. But the cheese was fantastic. Totally worth the trouble of parking at the mall, but if you were shopping anyway this is a cheese & wine person's place for lunch. BTW--you will have to pay a dollar to park after Feb. 1."
