"This was a huge disappointment and frankly, for lack of a better term, an entirely unethical interaction. Long story short --- they added an additional $10 to the bill. When we asked the waitress, she said she was sorry - did we want a glass of wine instead. So she knew they were trying to pull a fast one and tried to make up for it by bringing a glass of wine. Unethical behavior is entirely unacceptable by a restauranteur in a city with so many wonderful restaurants."
"We're locals and don't expect much out of North Beach restaurants as they generally cater to the tourists. We chose this place because it was on our route that day, we knew they had a big TV for peeking at the Warriors playoff game, and the food got good reviews. The service was OK, if only slightly indifferent, but generally accomodating. The pasta sauces were all very good and reasonably priced. I could have done without the 70s soul music, however. It was too loud and out of place in an Italian restaurant."

"Ate a big meal with my friends and used a very straightforward free appetizer coupon. I left slightly early and the waiter swindled my friends into paying for the entire meal, claiming what I ordered "wasn't an appetizer" (it was listed under appetizers and he'd validated the deal when I ordered). This was just explicit dishonestly and sliminess. The food was also quite expensive, but looked like it'd been prepared with frozen ingredients and was frankly pretty gross."
"Nice Italian restaurant in North Beach area of San Francisco. Wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Food was solid. Neopolitan and Margharita pizzas were solid and all the Salmon dishes were well prepared."

"We are visiting from out of town and Colosseo was a recommendation. Food was plenty and flavourful. Nice presentation and servers were all nice. Just a little slow to come over and actually acknowledge our table. Definitely needed a few more bodies on the floor. Overall a decent experience."
"My family and I had Christmas Eve dinner there and everything was delicious. The service was fabulous and I really liked our waiter. He was nice and helpful. I would return there because I loved the eggplant parmigan."
