"Go with 3-4 people. Order one of their delicious and potent cocktails containing Peruvian brandy or the excellent sangria. Then proceed to order a juicy, remarkably seasoned and marinated, and perfectly rotisseried whole chicken, which comes with two sides. We love the perfectly crisped yucca fries with dipping sauces. We also had the satisfying Russian salad and green salad. Great meal tthat cost us $25 each. Can't go wrong. Staff is friendly, efficient, and polite. Cool decor. Very clean."

"Six of us dined at Limon Rotisserie on Valencia Wednesday after a play. We had the most delightful and knowledgeable waiter, Greg. Everything he recommended was delicious. The chicken was outstanding: flavorful, tender and moist. All the sides were delicious. I won't list all the small plates we ordered, but they were all excellent. The Sangria was great as well. We'll be back!
I hadn't been to the Mission in years and it was delightful."

"We started with a signature prawn and snapper ceviche. This is the rotisserie branch of the mother restaurant, go for the chicken! - a quarter sized white meat special was more than adequate for both of us (get half size, if only ordering one entree). It's accompanied by three sauces and 2 choices of sides (veggies; yucca, sweet potato or french fries; beans and rice; salad). Because the carne empanadas were out, we reluctantly ordered the chicken ones. They turned out to be excellent. We also had the wonderful beet/potato salad. We had excellent pisco based cocktails- let the waitperson guide you to sweet, tart or fruity ones. Portions are quite ample, so unless you plan to take food home, choose conservatively- you can always order more."

"We had a terrible experience at Limon last night, and will not be going back.
The food was fine, in fact great, but the service was like nothing else I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Clearly they have a policy to move people through the place as quickly as possible to maximize profits for the night. From the moment we sat down the waitress was on us every minute for us to order.
I have never been made to feel so unwelcome in a restaurant in all my life, and the level of stress that the constant pressure to order/eat/order/eat/pay/leave spoiled the evening. I cannot imagine how a restaurant can survive by basically treating their customers like cattle to rush through like on a conveyor belt."

"I had a ceviche and a quarter chicken. Neither had much flavor and the chicken was very dry. The ceviche by itself had no bite from whatever citrus it had been "cooked" in and only the sauces made it worth eating. I wouldn't return."

The service was slow, they brought the wrong drink, then charged us for the both the wrong drink and the correct one which we had to remind the server was the actual order, and the food was all a bit off. "The service was very very slow and because I was catching up with old friends we didn't mind how long it was taking and so didn't say anything but normally most people would have. The server poured my friend's sangria into her water glass and then never brought her fresh water or another drink! The two $$ signs on Yelp is also very misleading. This restaurant is more expensive than that as the portions are extremely small- the whole "family style" thing is their excuse for why you have to order so many dishes. Other than these two things, the food was pretty good and they have an impressive drink menu. I don't think we will ever go back however because in a good restaurant, a drink or dessert is comped when such mistakes are made."

"Delicious food, reasonably priced, friendly and helpful waiters. By 6pm on Friday the volume was pretty loud so if you're really trying to have a conversation it can be difficult. "Overall the restaurant was great! The service was a little rushed. The waiter was very flat and boarder annoyed. Cocktails are great! They are not watered down at all! The food is AMAZING! I would recommend this place to everyone."

"The Bartendar was friendly and attentive and also made delicious drinks. The Waiters were also freindly and helpful with the menu. Finally, the food was absolutely delicious! We were celebrating someone's birthday and they placed a candle on the desert which I thought added a great touch. Love this place!"
