We are located in the beautiful Town of Woodside, offering upscale casual dining featuring outdoor patio with fireplace and heaters.
We feature Italian-American Cuisine of fresh seafood, natural meats from Niman Ranch, abundant salads and an array of homemade pasta and vegetarian dishes. Our famous thin-crust pizzas, mussels and other dishes are baked in our wood-burning oven. We use local, natural, sustainable ingredients and our first crop of heirloom tomatoes, fresh herbs and beans is on its way from our own gardens.

"Last time I was there, we were seated outside. Outside terrace is great to enjoy dinner; but inside is too small and packed to relax. (I felt like eating at a deli). I made a reservation (was not too long notice-;) but unfortunately outside seating were reserved by later arrival parties..."

"We had a family dinner of 6 and could not easily hear one another. They sat us in the outside expansion, which has a concrete patio floor and circus tent roof. It was surprisingly loud, enough so the table could not have a conversation.
We also had bought a cake in advance, and I reminded them upon arrival. The Maître’ d assured me she would notify our waiter and, when I said I could do so myself, she insisted she would take care of it. No such coordination occurred and our delicious cake was rock hard because it had not been taken out of the refrigerator; it was so hard we had to send it back to the kitchen to cut.
Insist on indoor seating if you go."

"The Woodside Bakery & Cafe is a delightful restaurant with a varied menu. The walnut salad that we ordered was delicious as were the fish tacos. The artichoke ravioli was good but I anticipated artichoke being in the pasta and not merely on top of it. Reservations are a must to avoid a long wait, as this is clearly a local hot spot. WBC is definitely a good place for a leisurely business or casual lunch."

"Older lady who was the hostess was extremely rude. I made my reservation 1.5 hours in advance and she told me I didn't have a table at my reserved time because I made my reservation 10 minutes before. I showed her my email where I made my reservation 1.5 hours in advance and she told me I should call next time. If I wanted to call I wouldn't use Open Table.
Food was good and actual server was very nice."

"The food was great as always. We go there are least once or twice a week. Our waiter was not attentive and it took us two hours to get served and out of there. No matter how much I like the food, poor service will keep me from returning anytime soon. I called the manager on duty after we left and he could have cared less. Good luck to them. but can't spend my money there."

"Make a reservation! It was our first time making a reservation and we had the best table in the house waiting for us when we arrived (round table in the middle of the patio). We'll never "just show up" again.
The patio was charming, filled with people clearly enjoying themselves and their lunches. Ambience was both rustic and relaxed with propane heaters at the ready for chilly days and a canvas roof overhead to keep out burning rays.
As always, the signature spinach/mushroom soup was fantastic. It is a welcome change to be in a restaurant where diners are permitted to have a sandwich made with the bread of their choice and where servers are happy to make iced coffee as well as iced tea."

"Woodside Bakery & Cafe is a delightful vibrant cafe that serves fresh tasty salads, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas and great soups. The hostess was particularly helpful in asking us where we would like to sit among the tables open and was very gracious which I'm sure isn't easy with the crush of people who come for lunch. It is great one can make reservations for this popular, attractive dining spot in beautiful Woodside."

"We have always enjoyed dinners at WB so I thought I would take my grad-school daughter here for a nice brunch. Knowing how busy WB would be on a Sunday, I made reservations. We showed up on time and the hostess asked the couple in front of us in line if they had a reservation and they said no. After reviewing the reservation/table list, the couple was brought to the beautiful enclosed outside area. Our turn was next. The hostess verified our reservation and sat us next to a 4 person table consisting of 4 noisy children (their parents were at another table). We asked to be moved to outside and were told that all tables are being held for larger parties (there were open small tables available that hadn't been put together)."

"I was very disappointed with how long it took for our food to arrive, either the waiter forgot to enter my order or the kitchen staff lost it. Two table who arrived after my friend and i were served and finished before our food finally arrived. Needless to say i wont be going back!!"

"Very good food and the coffee was supreme. Outstanding burger- the beef was delicious. The crabmelt sandwhich was also a hit at our table as was the corn-walnut bread.
