"Everything about our experience was amazing except what was published for the Sunday Brunch all showed $42 PP so you can imagine our surprise when they charged us $69 PP. If Mother's Day was the cause for the price boost that is fine I just would have liked to have known from the beginning."

Review 4 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"The Crystal Room was beautiful and horrible at the same time. The Hotel and the dinning room are opulently beautiful, but the service and the food were really bad. The hostes and the server told us different specials, it took 3 choices before they actually had a bottel of wine that we chose from their wine list, and our waiter told us in all seriousness that they were closing pretty soon so we had better eat fast. The food was pedestrian and exactly what you would expect from a cruise ship. In the wonderful foodie city that is New Orleans, there are many many dining experiences that would be a better choice. Don't go!"

Review 5 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"This was the worst service we have experienced in years. The waiter knowing we were 7 Guests therefor the tip of 18% was automatically added did not in the least make an effort to accommodate us. The Restaurant was empty apart from ours and 2 other tables and we waited for over an hour for our main course. Our dinner took almost 3 hours. Upon asking the waiter what happens if the Restaurant might be filled his response was:"Oh then it's even worse!" I guess that says everything about the place."

Review 8 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"I don't know how to rate this restaurant. Only seven diners were ther on a Monday night. Our service was uninspired, vegetables was served cold. The room was wonderful: 1800 decor. Sad the meal wasn;t as good."

Review 11 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"LePavillon really went out of their way to celebrate Easter. The live baby rabbits, ducks and chicks was not only a great experience for the kids, but for the adults too who wanted to hold them! LePavillon's brunch has made a name for itself with a wonderful salad bar and a great selection of entrees. The balloons on the tables added to the ambiance."

Review 15 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"Our party of 5 had Easter Brunch this past Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There were a variety of foods such as breakfast dishes with an omelet station to traditional New Orleans dishes such as seafood gumbo, baked oysters, and shrimp. The pork medallions were to die for! We especially enjoyed the mimosas (the best we had all weekend). Our server, Frank, kept our glasses full. The Crystal Room is gorgeous, felt like we were dining in a grand European estate. I cannot recall the name of the piano player/singer but he was a special treat. My husband and I have dined there previously before Sunday football games but the other 3 in our party had not and were greatly impressed. We hope to make it an annual Easter tradition."

"It was the icing put on the cake for our Easter celebration! Very good food, really beautiful old New Orleans elegance. Had always drove by the hotel and wondered what it looked like on the inside. Now I know! I know I will be back!"

Review 19 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"Went here for our "Crystal" anniversary (15 years) with partner. The portions are huge and everything was delicious. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the attention when needed and the privacy that was given - the staff new when to interupt, etc., which was truly appreciated."

Review 23 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"A classic case of expensive, mediocre hotel dining at its least impressive. New Orleans is a diners paradise - came here out of desperation when client wanted to eat earlier. Pedestrian menus with barely adequate execution that could occur sin any business hotel past its prime - don't even bother NOLA has so much mrore to offer, amd life's too short to eat here."

Review 25 for The Crystal Room at Le Pavillon Hotel
"Group of eight for Superbowl eve dinner. Buffet entree selections great. A la carte service extremely slow with restaurant less than half full. Gumbo was probably the highlight of all dishes."

"I don't typically take the time write reviews. Have had amazing experiences at many places, but unfortunately this was not one of them. Every part of the dinner was a disappointment. I cannot recommend this restaurant."
