"Have been passing it for years and finally went into what will sure to be the first of many visits. Service couldn't be better and the atmosphere was perfect. Loved everything we had to eat!"

"I really liked this place. Last week I popped in and dined alone - was made to feel very welcome - so I came back with a friend and enjoyed the experience as much as the first time. Very impressed with the fish selections - especially the cod served with spring veges. And couldn't pass up the chocolate bread pudding for dessert."

"I spent this past week out in the hamptons with my family. On our third night of dining we came to racelane. It surpassed the other two so to speak "hotspots" out there, in every way. The welcoming atmosphere upon arrival carried on throughout our entire night. It just seemed that they really appreciated me being there. Food was top shelf, favorites were the octopus, cod, pork chop and that burger was impressive (put an egg on it). Upside down apple pie and chocolate bread pudding were our standout desserts. A downside could be the two tv's at the bar, but you cant have everything. Good to meet you racelane, see you next year."

"It wasn't fabulous. I liked my cod quite a bit, but the rest was not the quality we expected. The octopus was soggy, the butternut squash soup was off, the burger was not fabulous, but the fries were great! What really ruined things a but we're the two televisions behind the bar showing a baseball game. Not exactly romantic. Service was all right."

"Race Lane was recommended by our hotel in the area. They send most of their clientele here and of course we can understand why. Creatively presented dishes - attentive service and a fantastic fireplace. The Pork chop with a savory pancake was excellent and my wife's while Branzino stuffed with fennel was equally outstanding. Highly recommend. We will be back."

"Friends told us the food here was excellent and Race Lane did not disappoint. The Branzino cooked whole was obviously fresh and roasted to perfection - the braised shortrib was served with an amazing wine sauce and beets - perfect for a winters evening dinner around the fireplace. This was accompanied with a bottle of wine recommended by Jay who owns the restaurant, along with his beautiful Australian wife."

"Super restaurant experience. Excellent dinner. Each dish executed with an understanding of each ingredient and how they complement one another. The butternut squash soup with a hint of curry is such a dish as is the salmon with red pepper sauce over a bed of kale. Or the perfect simplicity of Montauk oysters with pomegranite granita?! Furthermore, service with a smile and after dinner drinks by the fireplace will ensure a swift return. Well done Race Lane Team. Hope you read this review...."
