"I know it's a restaurant/ bar, but I thought it actuallu was supposed to have more of a restaurant atmosphere to it. While the food was great and the waitstaff friendly, the seating was uncomfortable and it got loud very quickly. I would go back, but I would go for lunch rather than dinner."

"I give kudos to Hudson Grille for really great food and a beautiful and well-run restaurant. I've eaten here 3 times - 2 dinners and one lunch and it was very good all around. The waitstaff seems to be trained really well. I love it!"

"Found this gem on this site. Met relatives who we haven't seen in quite some time. Server was attentive but not intrusive. Food was excellent. We sat inside at a nice round table. We were able to have conversations.. We will definitely be back."

"1st visit to this wonderful restaurant/bar next door to Porter House last Friday.
I suppose they don't have Happy Hour, but food was great and drinks were cold.
Matre'd was friendly and courteous. Waiter was prompt and cheerful. Silverware and glassese were also clean. Only negative I saw was an occasional waiter(?) gathering and chatting(looking bored) in the corner nearby the front entrance, which was visible to most patrons. Maybe too many staff too early?"

"We had always enjoyed our visits to Stamford's Hudson Grille, but we enjoye the White plains restaurant even more. Larger menu and more vegetarian options. Also loved the large outdoor patio."

"We planned a last minute dinner for my son's birthday. Hundson Grill was very accomodating. Food is great, service is good. It was a group of seven and we all had a different dish (Pasta, Steak, pork chops, fish, burger) empty plates all around. Atmospher is nice and better that many in the White Plains area."

"Food was good - better than average. The tomato bisque soup was luscious, and served with tiny goat cheese "sandwiches". The chicken Caesar salad left some room for improvement - the chicken was overdone - not unusual for establishments that worry about under-cooking the meat so as to kill the bird a second time. A real shame and totally avoidable with the use of a meat thermometer - something I'm certain busy kitchens do not have time to do."

"My husband and I chose this place because the food was well-rated, and the atmosphere was right up our alley - classy yet casual scene (w/ old school wooden bar). We prefer this to the sports bar with multiple tvs/young crowd, and the stuffy restaurant atmosphere.
Well the restaurant itself was beautiful, the staff courteous and attentive, and the food! - outstanding! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice night out."
