"The restaurant is closed for dinner by now but even that it was thair last weekend when we dined there it would not be excused for "whatever-you-order-is-fine" waiter. He didn't care and gave not any personal recomendation. Even if he did not like any food or is unhappy that they are closing he should add some personal touche. My halibut was toatlly overcooked and I did order it undercook. Food was very fair, not as should be for this level of the restaurant."

"It was a sad event for me given that it was 48 hours prior to the closing of Aujourd 'hui, one of Boston's finest restaurants. And given that it was my final meal there, everything went as I had experienced in previous visits. As always, the service was impeccable. Of course, the meal was outstanding, all three courses. The wild salmon was succulent. The crab salad was flavorful. And the chocolate souffle was as good as I have ever had. A fine Boston institution has come to an end. Your culinary delights will be missed. Au revoir Aujourd 'hui."

"We had a wonderful Father's Day brunch. We are so sorry that it is closing. I haven't been anywhere in Boston that even comes close to Aujourd 'hui in terms of food and atmosphere. We will miss this wonderful restaurant!"

"Boston will loose it's best restaurant when Aujourd 'hui closes. Nothing else in town comes close at any price. Everything was always perfect and if it wasn't, they'd make it perfect. Wonderful view of the Public Garden, wide menu choice, excellent staff, food prepared to perfection, very personal service with attention to the smallest detail. Always a great experience."

"Best dining room in Boston, regretfully it closes June 27, 2009 due to economic conditions. "Our dining experience at this restaurant was outstanding!!! Impeccable service, careful without being interfering...delicious food, beautifully presented, and lovely atmosphere with tables nicely spaced.

We eat out quite often in the Philadelphia area, and this restaurant was definitely in our top 10 list! Thank you for a lovely evening, especially since we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary."

"My husband and I were celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary, and we were each offered a complimentary glass of Veuve in honor of our celebration--a wonderful surprise. Our appetizer (a raw fish medley, don't remember which fish) was delicious, as was our lobster bisque (decadent) and beet salad (vibrant and fresh). I ordered the rabbit, which utilized the meat in a pasta and rillette as well as sliced over carrot puree. The rillette was especially good. My husband ordered the steak, which arrived as prepared, with delicious mustard greens. We ordered the hazelnut napoleon dessert to share, but they generously offered us a second dessert as part of our celebration. These special touches made our evening memorable and romantic."

"Everything about our meal from arrival to departure was bang on target! It is pricey but you wouldn't expect to get the food, service, ambiance and lovely wines we had for a bargain. "I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. I noted it was her birthday via open table and she was wished happy birthday by 3 different staff members when we arrived. The lobster was a bit plain, but the rack of lamb was one of the best meat cuts I have ever eaten in my entire life. My girlfriend ordered a chocolate souffle, which was very good and was brought out to her with the words "Happy Birthday" spelled out in chocolate. On the way out, the mater d' bid us a wonderful evening at the theater. How he figured out that's where we were going next I don't know, but it was a nice touch. The view is of a beautiful park. The ambiance is appropriate for an intimate evening. One irritation was that parking was $24. Most Romantic in Boston."

"Not much of a crowd early Friday evening, so staff was very attentive. Ordered a la carte and enjoyed a wonderful goat cheese and baby beet salad. Our entrees were slow roast Atlantic char (which was quite good) and beef tenderloin that my wife described as a little above average but not the best she's had. My dessert of peach souffle and strawberry creme glace was outstanding and I was glad I ordered it at the start. We had a nice evening."

"We went to Aujourd'hui for the Easter Brunch and it was fabulous. The dining room is beautiful and we had a great table overlooking Boston Commons. The service was excellent and the food was consistently above average, especially for a buffet style. We felt welcomed by all the staff and they genuinely imparted the feeling that they were happy we were there. This is the 2nd time we have been there for the Easter Buffet and I think it would be hard to top as a place to spend this special day."

"My wife and I are 'foodies', and enjoy fine dining for special occasions. I took my wife her for her birthday, and we really enjoyed the meal. We had a 5:30 dinner, before a 7:30 show, and we had great seats with a view on the Boston Gardens. The service was fantastic, a perfect mix of attentive but not annoying. The food was very good, albeit a bit pricy. I must say we enjoyed the food at L'Espalier a bit better, but it's pretty close. Highly recommended."

"We ate Brunch at Aujourd 'hui- it's a beautiful restaurant and we were lucky enough to be seated at a table overlooking the Boston Common. The selection at brunch is huge, almost overwhelming, because you want to try everything. They make their own sausages and pates, there is a raw bar, Dim Sum, Sushi, salads, meats, eggs, etc, and the dessert buffet is to die for. They also request at the beginning of Brunch that you ask if there is anything you want that you don't see! If price is no object then this is the restaurant to go to."

"Almost the best sunday brunch we have had in the USA. Why not the best - no "free" wine included in the price. However , to the food.
One of the tastiest seafood buffets I've had. All too often prawns are devoid of flavour - these and the lobster weren't. Lovely oysters as well. Good selection of cold cuts as well as hot dishes.
My wife said the dessert selection looked great and what little she tried tasted great.
A most pleasant experience."

"We were surprised the price for entrance on the menu are not too expensive. Even though they are not participate the restaurant week, they have a savvy menu (3 courses meal - $40) fits many people budget for any occasions."

"This was our first time having brunch at Aujourdui. Although the sushi was very fresh, the raw oysters and clams tasted too fishy and not as fresh. We did notice the platters were often refreshed so we might have gotten an older batch. Despite this, there was really nothing negative we could say about our experience. You should pace yourself so you don't miss out on any dishes. There was a very good variety of selections and the dessert was no exception!! The service was also exceptional as always."

"Had a wonderful brunch, it was well worth the price. The service was excellent. We stayed well beyond the closing time of the brunch but never felt rushed by the staff.

The only complaint, $ 26 for a Bloody Mary seem well in excess of the current rate........"

"I had not been for dinner at Aujourd'hue in eons. I do not like the new decor. There is a generous amount of space between the tables anabling quiet conversations for all.

Our head waiter was wonderful. A true professional. He was gracious, extremely well informed about all the food items and wine list. He made excellent suggestions and made everyone feel very special.

All three courses of food were delectible. we had just the right amount to eat. In addition to the menu items, we were given a superb duck amuse bouche and macaroon anc chocolates.

I arrived early and had a marvelous glass of white burgundy served by the bartender, Jose. He, too, is a class act."
