"This was our third visit but the least enjoyable simply because our appetizer arrived at the same time as our dinners. I was unhappy with this and also thought there should have been an apology from server or explanation. The situation left our table over crowded with dishes getting cold. I do note that our dinners were very good and we will go back for a fourth time."

"We had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated on a Saturday night. We had reservations. We came to the podium gave our name and was told to stand to the side and we would be called. Meanwhile, a number of parties that came after us were shown to their seats.

"My Boyfriend and I went to Dos Cominos for his birthday and we had the best time! The guacamole was delicious. I can't stop thinking about it and it's been like 4 days since we ate there. At the end of the meal I casually mentioned to the server that I was paying for dinner because it was my boyfriend's birthday and he came back and surprised us both with a little cake with a candle in it! I thought that was so sweet because I didn't even ask or expect it, he just did it. That is fantastic service!
Just a word to the wise they give you the most delicious chips and salsa to start with so if you don't have a big appetite don't order too much or you will be full in no time! I was a happy little beached whale after that meal! haha! Enjoy!"

"It seems that Dos Caminos has a policy on the weekend, if you are a party of eight or more, they insist you have the prix fix menu. When we arrived this was the first of hearing about this policy. We were a party of eight, everyone agreed on the restaurant because we love some of the items on their normal menu. When hearing they wanted us to have the prix fix we were not happy. There was no notification of this otherwise we would have changed our venue. Most people can not eat four courses, and diet restrictions are also an issue for most. After arguing loudly with manager she finally told us that we could pick our meals like normal people would off the menu. After that hurdle, I will say the service and dinner was great!"

"Our dinner was great, enchiladas and skirt steak with salsa verde. Be sure to get the made to order Guacamole too. The special Margaritas were the best.Get a pitcher! Our server, Hosam was very knowledgeable about the food and the bar, very pleasant and efficient.. The view is of the back bay behind the casino, boats going by and a nice sunset. The rest of the staff was attentive and seemed like they were having as good a time as we were. We will be going back again and again!"

"Our table had a bay view, but the sun was shinning in on our face the entire time.
We could not enjoy our meal with the bright sun in our face, it made us very warm and uncomfortable.

"I have been here multiple times and the food here is very average Mexican food. They do a good guacamole, but the entrees are consistently middle of the fairway but nothing special. If you're looking to have a few good margaritas and some guac, then Dos works; otherwise nothing special. The place also gets ridiculously loud and certain seats by the window (in particular ones right by a huge support pillar), are uncomfortably freezing cold, with air blowing on your food and table. I've had to get moved out of this seat twice and sat there once, and it just needs to be fixed. Also they pride themselves on service, but our waitress did not remember to read us the specials. We had to inquire about them after hearing them at the next table."

"Was here for a bachelorette party. There are definitely a lot of large groups dining at this Atlantic City location, some groups rowdier than others, but a vibrant atmosphere. For groups 8 and over there is a price fix menu and they definitely do not skimp on the the food! High quality and plenty to go around. We got a pitcher of (Strong) margarita that was enough for the 8 of us to get a glass. The dessert was nothing to write home about, but a nice way to finish out the meal. Nice view of the marina as well. Would definitely recommend this place for another large group outting."

"Ive been to Dos caminos a few times, this time wanted to take my folks out and see a nice view. Very unfortunate was the "ribeye" skewers served to my Father. This was grizzle fat through out. Basically unedible. The server was very nice but it was a Friday night by the time she came back to see how dinner was the rest of us was finished, we told her about the meat but she didn't offer to take off bill and she cold plainly seen it hadn't been eaten. In addition the large glass windows were filthy, so after raving about this place to my folks, needless to say they were disappointed. Maybe weekends are not the night to come here."

"We had the WORST dinner. We ordered guac for the table and it only arrived because we reminded Hosam that we ordered it. He brought it over 5 min before our entrees arrived. We had ordered the cut veggies with it too and he mumbled some lame made up excuse for why they weren't ready. Later we're asked if we want dessert. We decide to ask for the menus but he forgets about us. Again. I told him to just bring the check but then he forgets to pick it up. The only reason we paid is because I was waving the check and my credit card in the air and the manager asked another waiter to come by and pick it up. Hosam comes by to apologize for the bad experience but of course nothing is comped or done about it. Thanks to the service we won't be back."

"We felt we were so fortunate to encounter a very knowledgeable and friendly bartender in Dos Cominos, Atlantic City. I wanted to try a flight of tequila and was very excited to learn about the different kinds of tequila available. Ryan was so helpful and was also happy to have customers that were so interested to try something new.
We also had dinner reservations. Everyone was so nice from the hostesses at the front door, the waiter we had and all the waitstaff. My jumbo shrimp dish was so good and my husband enjoyed an open faced quesadilla with shrimp and other toppings. The water view is also very beautiful. We would come here again for drinks and dinner. Oh, and the guacamole is delicious!"

"We were out to enjoy a special event, so we came early to avoid the crowd and noise. But about 30 minutes into our stay, a foursome was placed next to our us that enjoyed randomly yelling and hollering. The manager made some effort to control the group but was totally ineffective as the yelling continued, while people continued to be seated around this group. After about an hour of random shouting, our focus was not on the meal or the view of the water, but in trying to simply pay our bill and leave. I am sure they were "comped" to leave the restaurant at around the same time as we departed. They should have been escorted out of the restaurant rather than being rewarded for ruining our meal and the ambiance of all the people around them."

"Great experience at Dos Caminos. First time there and we loved it! The fresh margaritas and guac were amazing. My bf ordered the scallops with pineaple sauce, it melts in your mouth, so good! The minute you try them, its so good. Loved the tuna appetizer as well. Highly would recommend this pace. Also, they provide great service and are accommodating. "The Shrimp and Steak Fajita were very good. We loved the guacamole and salsas. We had a problem getting dessert. The waiter said they needed to get some bananas from another area and it took over 25 minutes. The chocolate caramel fondue was delicious."

"Had to wait abou 45 minutes for my table for group of 12 women for a bachelorette party. The manager was great though and send us over 3 complimentary pitchers of Margaritas as a thank you for being patient. Thank you Ben you were great!!!"

"Guacamole rocks, drinks would be great if they actually had some alcohol in them! The chips are overly salted so beware; why ruin freshly fried tortilla chips by throwing salt on them?! I'm dipping them in either salsa or guacamole so the salt is just not necessary. The food is alright; I ordered the mexican salad (I think that's what it was called) and it was ok for a salad; my bf's dinner was great though (chicken alambre) which is skewered chicken that was super juicy, flavorful and just fantastic! that seems to be the dish they recommend and I see why. I would come here with friends for chips and guac, and split a meal b/c after munching on chips/guac who has room for a full meal!? If you like to drink you will have to order doubles."

"when we were seated we were placed into a bad table that had a lot of traffic. when we asked to move we were told that we could sit at the bar when there were tables open and stayed that way through our entire dinner. the entree was served minutes after theappetizer and we informed them that we just got our appetizer. "Excellent margaritas and very good, slightly offbeat mexican food best describes Dos Caminos in Harrahs A.C. The place is a bit pricey for mexican, but the overall dining experience will win you over. Guacamole with crabment-made fresh- is a great start to the evening. The Ribeye entree is one of my favorite meals in any restaurant, anywhere. Nice festive atmosphere will be apparent as the evening fills both bar and dining room. Wait staff is very helpful. Enjoy."

"My boyfriend and I were here on a Saturday night. The noise level was outrageous! It was so loud. You had to yell at everyone at your table unless you were sitting right next to them. Maybe it was the season of bachelor/bachelorette parties that contributed to the noise. But it was definitely not enjoyable if you were there for a quiet night with your significant other. The bar scene seemed live. As for the food, the guacamole is what they're famed for. A little pricey but good. The menu is your typical Mexican dishes. My favorite is the grilled shrimp quesadilla. It's basically like a pizza on a crispy flaky crust.. Overall this place is great for groups. If you want a more quiet dinner you might want to try somewhere else."

"This is the second time we went and the food is just amazing!!! The place was packed and the only downfall was that we were at one of their very small tables with waiters and waitresses constantly passing us by. Most of the tables are not like the one we were seated at. The guacamole is delicious as was the blueberry margarita. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. You'll never be satisfied with your local mexican place again. We will be back!"

"Food was AMAZING! We went with a group of 8 for a birthday. On my drive to Atlantic City (3hrs before my reservation) I received a confirmation call at which time I was informed that because of the size of our group we would be limited to a fixed menu and not the full menu. I chose to head to the restaurant as soon as I arrive to discuss this since I was never notified prior to this. After some talking and letting them know this was unacceptable to let someone know only hours prior to a reservation (which was made a week prior) the manager finally accommodated our group. Food was well above average just be ware of booking for a large party because this info is no where to be found when booking an online reservation."

"I celebrated my 25th birthday at dos caminos in Atlantic city and it was perfect! The service, the food, drinks was great!!! The only thing I would say was it was too rushed. We weren't even done with our salads and they brought out the entrees. But other then that i would go there again."
