Bhatti Indian Grill
Bhatti indian Grill is an ultra-authentic North Indian restaurant that’s refined yet affordable, upscale and still comfortable. However, the food is truly a gourmand’s treasure trove—after training with master chefs in New Delhi and traveling rural North India to gain access to the region’s most secret, almost ritualistic recipes, chef/owner Anand is able to deliver Indian dishes unlike any other currently being served in the city.
The name of the restaurant refers to a special open fire grill used in Punjab. It was there that, generations ago, hunters would strive to achieve the freshest meals by carrying a grill that could be used in the same forests where they found their catch. The recipes and methods they used are recreated here, and in their tradition, Anand finishes each dish over lava rocks which impart a signature flavor.

"I always love going to Bhatti. The staff is friendly, the food delicious and reasonably priced, and its BYOB! We weren't super hungry so we decided to order one dish plus rice and naan to start. We ordered the saag paneer which was absolutely delicious and we'd never had it before. We later decided we were still hungry so we ordered a chicken tikka masala, which we've had here before and really enjoyed. Literally it came out less than 30 seconds later, overcooked chicken and under-flavored sauce. Wish we had never ordered it because we left unsatisfied. We'll give Bhatti another chance for sure, but it'll be a while."

"We were a party of three. We were assigned a table which had the hot air of the heating blowing on our face so we requested a different table and we avoided the discomfort. The service was attentive and indicated me that the lamb shish kebab was not an entree but an appetizer. I ordered then a lamb entree which was just slightly higher price. The food was nicely done although it came in a bowl that had lots of liquid sauce and less than expected cubes of lamb. The entree did not come with the usual bashmati rice which could be ordered for an additional price. I ordered one of the entrees of lamb and I asked for mild an it turned out to be moderate to spicy flavor.
I neutralized it by drinking more water. The other two entrees were fine."
