"We were passing through and decided to spend the night in Ocala and check out Cuvee Wine & Bistro. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere, though a bit quirky, was romantic with great tall booths and silk draperies. The steak was in the top ten best ever, and I come from cattle farmers! Our waiter was very personal and attentive. And, the Pièce de résistance is the huge selection of wines by the glass! Cuvee's fancy system for maintaining multiple open bottles allows the diner to choose a different glass with each course without fear of receiving a spoiled glass of wine. Bravo!"

"Cuvee Wine & Bistro is a great place for wine lovers. Extensive wine list as well as automated wine pour system which allows the diner to try 1, 2 or larger ounce pours which go on a card which is expensed at the end of the dining experience. Also a full service bar. Staff knowledgeable, service was wonderful and the food outstanding. Great place for a special occasion or romantic dinner. Definitely will go again."

"The Cuvee Wine and Bistro provides a beautiful fine dining experience where you can enjoy excellent food and wine in a quiet setting. We also noted that larger groups can be accommodated as well. Service was excellent. We were celebrating a special birthday, and we made a note of this to the restaurant when making online reservations. Without prompting or mentioning this during our visit, our friends birthday was recognized with a spectacular, sparkling roman type of candle that ended our evening perfectly. We will definitely return to this lovely restaurant who rates A+ on our list and are happy to recommend you to our family and friends."

"If this restaurant was in NYC or some other very sophisticated food scene, it'd probably still be a solid 4 stars. Considering it's in Central Florida, I wish I could give it 6! It's tiny, the ambiance is very modern, romantic and chic. The food comes in smaller portions (you leave very full, but not much left over) but the food is INCREDIBLY good. Best chef in Ocala works here. Our waiter was so sweet and attentive and did not rush us in the least. The restaurant is the kind of place where you go to savor and take your time. Every sip of wine (they have HUGE wine menu) was perfection, every bite seemingly better than the last. Highly recommend. An appetizer, 2 drinks and 2 entrees and a 20% tip meant we left there paying about $9"

"The food at Cuvee is very well executed. I get the bison meatballs every time I go and this time I had peach duck which was cooked perfectly and the peach sauce wasn't to sweet as to overpower the duck. The restaurant's big draw is its self-service wines which in itself is an outstanding idea. They have 140 wines you can taste or purchase by the glass, however, if you are someone who is really into wines, the selection is very heavily biased towards Pinot Noir or Cabernet Savingon - two wine grouping which I find slightly boring and overrated by most of the general, uneducated American public. There were very few options for whites and it would have been nice to have an option or two of sparkling as well."

Beyond that, the food choices are imaginative, ingredients are of the highest quality and freshness, and above all, delicious (I was here 3-4 times in the space of a week, so was able to try several items). What stood out the most, however was the exceptional service. Again, we had several different people serve us, including dining at the bar. Each one took the time to be friendly, and make great recommendations, despite being very busy."

"Despite a very busy Valentine's Day, service was prompt. We were seated in a room that was converted from a porch. The good news was it was not as hectic there as the main dining rooms, although, I like the ambiance and availability to wine cuvée system in the main dining rooms. Oyster Rockefeller was just okay as an appetizer. I would not get it again. The sea bass entree was excellent and the Seafood Risotto was very good. The wine and wine suggestions were outrageous great. We got the Banana Foster and Strawberry Romonoff for dessert. Also, excellent."

"We were in Ocala celebrating our anniversary and Cuvee was one of the recommendations from the owner of the Seven Sisters Inn. Wine service is by the bottle, glass, or smaller measured (but pricier) amounts, so we tasted several different wines. Our server did an excellent job of matching the wines to the food courses. The flight of cheeses was a great choice with lots of different flavors and textures. We shared the bison meatballs and they were wonderful. My wife had red snapper and I had the Harris Ranch grain-fed petite filet, both tasty choices that were perfectly prepared. We finished by sharing the chocolate soufflet (20 minute advance) and that was the perfect finish. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We'll return."

"We got lost finding this place. Arrived late about 11pm. The hostess welcomed us in and we enjoyed a very nice meal in an almost empty place. Everything thing was well prepared and our server was helpful and attentive. The prices are a little steep for the quality but the food is good. The place is dark but tastfully decorated."

"The meal I was served was tragic. Regrettably, this is becoming the rule, not the exception. The server was wonderful, and apologetic, as was the manager. Nonetheless, the primary reason you go to a restaurant is for the food."

"We enjoyed everything from the Maryland crab cakes to the tiramisu and coffee. The wine delivery system was unique and a great way to try different selections. Our server Ray was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back on our next trip through Ocala."
