"Four of us, all foodies, went for Mother's Day and left happy. The mojo cooking broth was a huge hit, as were all but one of the sauces (the curry). All agreed, though, that the shrimp didn't pair well with any sauce. The chocolate dessert course was all that we'd hoped it would be and more. And to top it all, I was surprised with the most remarkable gin martini I've ever tasted. The entire staff, and especially our waiter, went out of their way to please us. I would give a 4.5 rating if I knew how. Well done!"

"I took my fiance here for her birthday. We got the Four Course Experience and loved everything in it. Our waiter Aaron was very friendly and very helpful to us as first time customers. The food had tremendous flavor and was served to us in a very presentable manner. Our booth felt very private which we both enjoyed. The only thing I could honestly complain about was that my Mojito was a tad too minty with not enough citrus to complement it. Other than that I absolutely loved my experience and plan on going back often for our date nights."

"We have been going to the Melting Pot for nearly 15 years. It is one of our favorite places. Takes about 2 hours to eat since its fondue. Makes for a relaxing evening to just talk, catch up with friends and family. The kids love it too because its fun to cook your own food and use all the dipping sauces. The highlight of the night for us is the "Flaming Turtle" desert. Usually the waiters do some sort of flaming waterfall into the chocolate. We had a new waiter that night and he was nervous so he didn't do it. that was the only bummer of the evening...the kids love that part!"

"Kids love this place, and choose it for special celebrations. Coming to the Melting Pot is an EVENT though. Expect to stay 2 hours for the meal. For our party of 4, 2 chose the "full meal" experience, and the others were able to benefit from the cheese fondue course and dessert. Still quite pricey and I think the meals have gotten smaller -- fortunately, my salad filled me up so my son could eat some of my meat."

"Service was excellent. Food was way overpriced for what you get. $200 for 3 people.....that won't happen again. Not worth the price...and interior is worn.
Seems a great place for kids to go have fun with their parents credit card (they were full of that), but for serious diners - head someplace else. This place is done!

"Our server was excellent, it was our first visit and she walked us through everything and was very accomadating. Everyone worked together well as a team. I believe we had at least six different employees touch our service in one way or another. Whether it be to clear a plate, bring our dishes, adjust cooking top, fill our drinks or ask how everything was. The food was great, the portions of some items could have been larger. The timing of the service flowed to move everything along timely. We had a balloon/picture package added to our experience and they had it on the table before we were seated."

"My fiance and I had always enjoyed the food, service and ambience of several Melting Pot restaurants while living in the DC-Metro area for years. Following our recent relocation to Cincinnati, our first trip to the Norwood venue did not disappoint. We were treated to an expanded menu, with notably prompt, pleasant and interactive service, which made his birthday all the more special.
The remaining court boullion - fragrant with the Classic's ingredients - will serve as a marinade for tonight's at-home entree.
While the restaurant is a bit of a hike from our house, we will be back for another celebration!"

"We loved it! it was my second tine and my boyfriends first tone they're. They are always so helpful and explain everything to make you feel comfortable and have a wonderful time! if it is your first tine at a fondue pave it really is kind of weird at first bit they do a heat job at making you completely comfortable. The good is great! my boyfriend is a super picky Eater, he won't eat anything! But he really loved it! i love all food, but this is such a nice treat! I would recommend it to anyone!"

"Delicious fillet and herb encrusted chicken. Try the Mojo cooking style. It really makes the veggies pop. Make sure and treat yourself to all four courses! Had the milk chocolate for dessert but wish I would have had white chocolate because I feel most of the dessert dippers are better suited for that"

"We thought it was good. Maybe not as good as the last time we were there because of the extreme noise level. We were seated by a group of college age kids (about a dozen of them) and they were so loud and ear piercing. For a bill of $183 which was something we really had to save up for, I wish it was not as noisy to the point where we could not hear each other at all at our own table. That is the one thing I would say I wish was really different. Not sure if you can request being away from large groups when you place reservations, but I will try next time."

"Very unique experience, something I have wanted to try for some time and just never had the opportunity until now. This is the perfect place to take a date and the 4 course option works out very well. The staff is very pleasant and great at explaining the whole process which for a first timer can be a little overwhelming."

"The oil burned our food. The server turned the pot off and then switched it to another burner. Then the new burner was not cooking the food after a while.When we complained about that, he said he turned it off to cool it down. The food just soaked in the oil but was not crispy and we could not eat it. I eat at the Melting Pot usually 8 times a year and have always recommended it to friends or customers who are in town. I was very disappointed with this visit! I also realized after I left that I don't think the server gave my credit card back. I left a message on a recording today!"

"Overall experience was good. Our server was excellent. The only thing that bothered me was I had a coupon for the box of strawberries. I had even made a not of that while making reservations and we never received it. I was going to ask the server but after he gave us our bill we never saw him again. It seemed like the managers and some of the employees were sitting on the bar and I stood by the front hoping someone would respond to me but everyone ignored after standing there for 5 to 8 mins, my husband and I decided to leave dissatisfied."
