"My wife and I celebrated our marriage at Bear Creek in 2012. We went back recently for our 1st anniversary and it was another great experience. We knew the food would be excellent. The food was one of the main reasons we chose Bear Creek as our wedding venue. We both especially enjoy the Calamari. We got the steak w blue cheese and onions served on spinach. The meat was cooked perfectly. Thanks to the staff at Bear Creek for another great experience."

"Went for mothers day, thought it would be someplace different from our standard restaurants. Facility was very nice with pleasant views, service attention was good. The food was very marginal about what you expect at poor local dinner but pricing was more in line with mid high end restaurant. Presentation, menu selection and quantity were fine the taste was very bland and all 4 meals were delivery cool/warm. After two attempts of patronizing this establishment I do not need to return."

"This is the second time we have had dinner there with the same couple of friends. They are willing to drive 1 hour to meet us there for dinner because of the quality of the food. My husband and I also enjoy the Grille at Bear Creek for intimate dinner for two. We have booked for New Years Eve and have had great service and food.
On a separate note, I have had the opportunity to use the Spa services and have been very pleased with the services and the staff.
Overall, this establishment is a great little neighborhood gem.... only 5 miles from our home."

"We went for Easter Brunch. We made reservation through. open Table which was easy. From the time we got there we were treated courtesly and professionally. We were promptly seated. My Bloody Mary took time but the server pleasantly kept me informed about the progress. The brunch had many items, too numerous to sample with several stations to make omlettes, carve ham and leg of lamb. The arrangement was very efficient that allowed for handling the large crowd. There were many kids but amazingly all were very well behaved some of it due to the attentive staff.
The food was very good for a buffet. The service was great. We were not rushed. Plates were removed promptly. The ambiance was nice. It was a ski resort but with modern decor."

"I took my special someone to The Grille for our fourth date. Reservations were a breeze online, the service was impeccable, and the view was absolutely incredible. I found this restaurant to be a perfect gem for us: we detest the cold, but love beautiful scenery. The best part? After about two hours of great conversation and delicious food, we were treated to something spectacular: a fireworks display within view, at the crest of the mountain! This created a very unique memory instantly, and we are still talking about it. This is a magical place!"

"We travel a lot and have been to many gourmet restaurant. For a ski lodge, this restaurant is definitely a pleasant surprise! Food is GREAT and so fresh, service is Great and the view is wonderful. We Stayed at the hotel and ate Feb 13 right before valentines Day so you would think they would have been fully and freshly stocked. I had the steak, low quality cut over cooked. Wife had the fish again supermaket stuff. May be it was an off night but for the price eat at the cafeteria or Trails End in the hotel."

"Our daughter was skiing at Bear Creek with friends that evening so I suggested to my wife that we try the Grille restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with the dining experience at the Grille. The food was very good, the drinks were delicious and generous, dessert was a perfect end to a very good meal. When the bill came I was pleasantly surprised again, a good value, very affordable! We are looking forward to dining at the Grille again. This just might be our new annual anniversary stop. Thank you Bear Creek!"

"Food was very good as usual, however our server Michael was inattentive, never brought us the bread for our meal, our water never was refilled; it took forever to bring the dessert; which was supposed to be cheesecake with blueberries, he indicated there were none; my wife would have probably ordered something different knowing that. I guess what really upset me was that he was attentive to the table of six next to us; and the manager stopped by soon after that table was starting with there drinks to see how they were doing. No this table was right next to ours; his back was to us; and he did not say anything at that time. He finally stopped at our table as we were preparing to leave. I guess if your staying there it means more."

"Although extremly busy, there were enough wait staff to properly address the environment. We actually went to dinner there the following night also- which was a different experience in that we went with a family of 5 and at 415 pm, which was not busy at all. Staff did a great job, both nights!"

"Would not recommend this for a nice evening when two adults would like some time to talk and enjoy a nice dinner. It was too loud and awkward having a bear standing there starring at us while we were trying to eat. We were there for 3hours, which is incredibly slow. Our waitress never apologized for the wait time and walked by out table numerous times not even noticing we had empty glasses. The only positive, is the food was wonderful."

"The hostess was very rood... When I made the reservations I ask if I could get a window seat and when we got there she gave me issues saying that there was none available and then she told me that People make reservations month in advance for the window seats ....and how did she know that I didn't have reservations months ago.... so we sat there and there were 6 tables empty the whole time we had dinner..... Not very happy..... Other than that the dinner was good"

"It was Valentine's Day and sometimes one feels rushed with food that is not the restaurant's standard. This was different as we did not feel rushed in the least and our meals were wonderful. We started with the Calamari and Black & White Truffle Mac n Cheese. The Calamari was lightly breaded with a wonderful Asian type suace and the Mac n Cheese, well, let's just say I could have eaten that as my meal. It was TERRIFIC! My husband had the NY Strip Steak which he claimed to be one of the best and my Prime Rib was perfectly cooked and I was able to cut with a fork. The food was plentiful and we both left with "doggie" bags. All in all a wonderful meal at a beautiful restaurant."
