Giuseppe's Al Porto has a spectacular view of Squalicum Marina at Bellingham Bay and with Chef Christian Turner focusing on the freshest local ingredients, while utilizing classic Italian technique, our restaurant is an experience that you cannot afford to miss!! We offer Dining Al Tramonto which is our three course dinner for $14.95 Sunday thru Thursday from 4:00pm - 5:30pm. Or come join us for happy hour and our hand crafted Infusion Cocktails as well as Chef Turner's Balsamic Rosemary Glazed Ribs!

"I have now used Giuseppi's for a pre sailing weekend Friday night dinner for the past two years.this staff and owner have gone out of their way to accommodate our group. "We went there for our five years aniversary.
Very friendly staff and good food. We were greeted and seated by the owner himself. Our food took a little bit long to arrive, or maybe we were just starved and they were very busy at the time. Overall, good service and good food. Price is on the high, as expected. Two glasses of their cheapest wine, one apitizer, and two dinners (rib eye steak and halibut) came out to about $100.
We may return for another special occasion, but definitely not a place for regular dinner unless you got a thick wallet."

"I was beyond pleased with my time here. I am a vegetarian and my girlfriend cannot eat shellfish, so while we had more limited options than most couples would have, what we had was absolutely fantastic, We got seated looking right out over the water and got a nice corner table. They even gave us a dessert because it was our anniversary! I have already recommended Giuseppe's to my friends, and I can't wait to go back!"

"This was our first visit to Giuseppe's and it was fabulous. From the moment we stepped in the door and were greeted by a very friendly and personable host to the time we walked out and were invited back. The service, food, wine was all superb. I had the salmon which was to die for and was the best I have ever eaten. If you want a fine waterfront dining experience with delicious Italian fare, Giuseppe's Al Porto is the place to go!"

"We had a superb experience at this restaurant. We were looking for something special for a small family celebration. Most of us were visiting from out-of-town. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. The owner suggested appetizers while we waited for some of our guests. The bruschetta was the best we've tasted. The menu was very complete with something for everyone. The lobster ravioli special was just delectable. The pacing of the courses was perfect and allowed plenty of time to visit, open presents, etc. All in all, a truly wonderful day was enhanced with this lovely dining experience!"

"In contrast to past visits, the experience was sufficiently poor for us to decide never to return to this restaurant. Our wait for our order was very long. Three of our four dinners were sub par. My chicken parmigiana was ample but bland, served barely warm with overripe green beans. My wife's salmon was off. One of our guests had salmon salad. It was strange with salmon bathed in cajun like seasoning and cooked very well done. An appetiser(shrimp with a somewhat sweetish sauce) would not be ordered again. A side dish of gnocci were neither tender nor tasty (sauced with long-cooked rather than fresh tasting tomato saucs).
Our second guest liked his lasgna. We all liked the bread.
For $170 (one glass wine and no deserts), we're done her"

"I had not eaten at Giuseppe's since their move from downtown. I enjoyed the ambiance and size of the room. It's quite large with a large private dining space as well. Our service was nice. The food was not as good as I remembered. My friend and I shared an appetizer which was a ball of saffron risotto and bread crumbs deep fried. The menu mentioned that there was some beef and sausage in the dish but it wasn't evident. I ordered Vongole which was presented with clams in shell with pancetta around the edge of the dish with breadcrumbs and parsley. The dish tasted flat, and was served warm, not hot. Not the best I've had. I ended the meal with a cannoli which was very large and filled with sweet cream, it was good."

"Terrible, Restaurant over booked. Emailed restaurant in advance that this is our anniversary and requested a nice table. I called to confirm reservation and was told that they have reserved a nice table. We arrived and there were 30 customers waiting for the table, no body apologize. Owner was rude, never made eye contact but kept asking if he can get someone a drink, I thought what a nice gesture that he acknowledges that they made a mistake and is offering drink while we are waiting in the cold weather. Later everybody realized that those drinks were added to their bills. I heard him talking to his staff in the kitchen saying something about my ethnicity. Food below average, I drove from White Rock, Will not recommend this to anyone."

"We had reservations for 6:00 and had to wait 30 minutes for our table. There were 20 people waiting in line for their reservations. People were even seated in the hallway. I felt that the restaurant overbooked on purpose. The food was very good but the rushed atmosphere was not very romantic. It felt like a fast food joint."

"I have been to Giuseppe's a few times in the past, once here when they just relocated to this new location. The experience this times seems to be better than previous one. The place is open and more modern than the last place. The food seems to be better too. The Calamaretti alla Siciliana is exceptional done with a tasty spicy sauce. I had the Cioppino Isola Bella as main. It was tasty. The only down side is the scallops are tiny little one and there wasn't much food in this dish after you remove the mussel and clam shells. So if you were on a diet, it's a good selection. I think there was one piece of fish in the whole dish. The service was great. The wine was good. So definitely will return to try other dishes."

"Best Italian food in Whatcom County. Never had a bad meal and 4/5 were great meals. I am a regular so I should know. We chose Guisseppe's for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. Need I say more! Just go! It's a no-brainer."
