"We love Cafe Lurcat ...we had a great server ...love the roasted cauliflower...pork tenderloin for me and homemade pasta squares with lobster and shrimp for my guy...We happened to catch half price bottled wine night as well...so we had a nice super Tuscan at a great price. "Our family enjoyed excellent, attentive, and knowledgable service from our waiter, David. We enjoyed the filet, the signature sea bass dish, and the poached chicken. All were exceptional. "Wow! The chef is exquisite in his craft. The hamachi with hearts of palm appetizer was wonderful. Everything cooked to perfection. Our server, Jo, was very knowledgable about the wine and how to expertly pair it with the meal. To be honest, the weakest part of the meal was dessert, which we didn't need to eat anyway."

"My husband and I travel from NYC to our vacation home in Naples 3-4 times a year and we always come here at least once. We've done birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays with our extended families - it never disappoints! The servers are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive - not to mention the food is fantastic! Favorites are the Miso Sea Bass (best we've ever had), the Apple Chive Salad, and the Grouper Sandwiches (off the bar menu). Outside seating on the 1st or 2nd level is wonderful and looks out over 5th Ave - and in the cooler months they put on heat lamps at night so you're always comfortable. Can't wait until our next visit!"

"This has been one of my husbands favorite restaurant. This time we were disappointed. No one told us the upstairs was closed and we waited a long time for an outside table as it was very noisy inside. Our favorite salad, the apple chive was not good. It did not seem fresh and crisp and i think they added more pepper to hide the fact it wasnt as crisp and fresh as usual. This was the consensus of four people who had it. Also the two people who,had the yellow tail thought is was not tasty and needed a knife to cut. The men's favorite, the pot roast was good but not as good as usual."

"We had a delicious dinner at Cafe Lurcat. The upstairs is now closed for the summer, but we sat downstairs on the porch, which was very agreeable and far enough away from the street that you don't overwhelmed by car fumes. The steak tartare was amazing and the halibut special was excellent;."

"We had a special birthday dinner at Cafe Lurcat and the evening was very special. My partner had the snapper and I had the sea bass. Both were perfectly prepared and presented. We did order a side of the roasted brussel sprouts - tip: split them. Very generous portion! We sat outside on the first floor and loved every minute of it. It was a special birthday dinner for my partner, and she loved it (which is the important part)."

"A friend suggested Cafe Lurcat for our one night stay in Old Naples and we loved it!!
The building is very charming, the reception very welcoming, the bartender Keith mixed good drinks and was very friendly. We ate upstairs on the veranda and were served by Chrissy who couldn't have been more accomodating!! We were curious about the town since we had never been there and she was very informative and helpful.
I had the beet salad and my husband had tuna tartare to start - both loved it!
I had the pork tenderloin and he had the flat iron steak - both done to perfection.
We were there April 19th which is past the season I understand so it was not very crowded but we enjoyed that!"

"Our meal was excellent. However, it took almost an hour to receive our entrees. The restaurant was not busy at all. At one point, we were the only people dining outside and there were only 5 occupied tables inside. We're not sure why service was so slow. Our server did not visit our table and when we asked about our meals, she simply said there was a problem with one of the entrees.

"This is the best dinner we have had, in Naples. A loaf of hot bread reached the table, within two minutes of our being seated. On the table was a delicious dip of Olive Oil and spices. The escargots were outstanding. My wife had the veal tenderloin, which was delicious. My duck was the best I have had in years, and that was in New York City.
My wife had the profiteroles for desert, and I had the mascarpone custard with figs and strawberries.
Our waiter, Bruno, was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, and very efficient.

"Caution...tables for 2 upstairs are not that great. In the aisleway and waiters/bus boys can't get by and bump into you. Ask for a 4 top or booth is best upstairs. Food is excellent. Pricey but good. They could use more wait staff upstairs. Long periods went by before the waiters appeared. Sea Bass entree was excellent. Highly recommend their donuts for dessert. Yummy!"

"We love this restaurant and we like to go as often as we can.
Great food and wonderful, friendly service.
Unique setting with indoor and outdoor options. It's a very open and beautiful restaurant with a lively but still intimate feel. It almost feels like you are in the "cool" spot while the bustling 5th Ave crowd strolls by.

"Sitting on the terrace at Cafe Lurcat is one of life's great pleasures in Naples. The setting is perfect - on a lovely terrace with lots of happy people being watched by and watching passers by who wish they were sitting there as well. The food was excellent, especially the snapper served as part of the special three course meal. Drinks were expertly prepared. And Happy Hour is a real bargain. Our server, Gigi, was professional and were very friendly. The hostess, Gina, was very classy, who explained the origin of "86", the term used when an offering on the menu was no longer available.

"Cafe Lurcat always impresses. From the waiter who went out of his way to handle my dietary restrictions, to the chef who actually created a special dish for me was simply fantastic. The ambience upstairs is a comfortably noisy, with a calming lovely yellow decor. You can never go wrong with the tried and true dishes people have been enjoying for years - for example the duck ragout, and the pork tenderloin are "destination" entrees. Speaking of destination food, Cafe Lucrat serves the most unbelievable surprising, and indulgent dessert in all of fifth street. The donuts. Hot out of the oven, these little morsels of tenderness and taste are covered in sugar. My group of four ordered 2 orders - that's 24 donuts, 6 donuts per person."
