"The food was good, although the service left something to be desired. We went for brunch only to find out it didn't start until 11:00am which was not noted on the website. Asked for the brunch special at 10:55 and was told we would have to wait until 11:00 to order. Would return again, if in the neighborhood although would return after 12:00pm."

"Caesar salad was excellent, as were the Bloody Marys (very spicy). The Salmon Benedict was good but nothing to get excited about. It's a small, intimate space. I think there are better places to go for brunch but I would definitely keep this one on my list. It was good enough to warrant a repeat visit."

Review 5 for Riingo
Overall Rating

"We went for the restaurant week lunch. The 3 course prixfix lunch for restaurant week was wonderful, my husband and daugher couldn't stop raving. My sushi bento box lunch special, which cost more than their special lunch, was ok, nothing to write about. I was expecting the sushi to be a little bit more creative looking because it was supposed to be the "chef's special". It was $ 27 for a bowl of miso, a ginger dressing salad, a sushi roll (not sure what it was, but nothing I have not had before) and 4 pieces of sushi. No dessert, for 27 I would have hoped for one of the tiny green tea ice cream scooops. My son got a ahi tuna sandwich and said it was quite good. I would go back, definitely, but would order differently for myself."

"This is a brunch-specific review. The food was fantastic and it was relatively quiet. I had the french toast and my friend had the artichoke omelette. Both were very good. Not sure if it was a quieter morning because of snow, but it was fairly empty and the waitstaff didn't make us feel rushed at all."

Review 10 for Riingo

"Loved the bread served. The rice crackers were especially good. Tasty salmon. My date thought the arrugula puree was bitter, but I liked it. Beer braised beef was tasty. I could've had that for an entree. I had the butterfish. I thought they were little round flat fish, and was surprised by its size when it was brought to the table. Nice flavors with the vegetables, especially the enoki mushrooms. Enjoyed finishing up with the donuts and choc-caramel terrine. The green tea ice cream was the best I ever had of that flavor. I left the restaurant satisfied. Would dine there again."

Review 11 for Riingo
Overall Rating
(Fair)
"I was really looking forward to lunch at Riingo and was disappointed to say the least. The food was very mediocre and very salty. The beef I had was tough (and even though I ordered it rare, it came medium-well) and the dessert was chocolate that was too sweet, hard as a rock and not at all appetizing. Service was slow and even after most tables emptied and we received our check the wait staff was resetting tables rather than checking us out. We sat for a good 10 minutes before we could get anyone's attention. I definitely would not return to this restaurant."

"Food was not very good, the flavors in the chicken I ordered didn't seem to combine. I also has a sampler of their signature dish (tuna tartare) and I didn't like it either. Not kind of taste."
