"We ate at 5 PM after a hard day of gambling at Hollywood Casino and had the lasagna special running from 5 - 6 PM each night.
This is the best lasagna I know of - melts in your mouth.
And we paid for it with a gift card that we bought at CostCo at a 20% discount which covered the tip.
Highly recommend this place....."

"The moment one walks into the Hollywood Casino complex, where the restaurant is located, one is hit by cigarette smoke. A smelly, smokey haze permeates everything, including this restaurant, which is right next to the casino. But for the smoke, the restaurant would likely have been pleasant enough, and the food might have tasted better than just average. I must say that we loved the garlic, herb, and cheese dipping oil. I believe it was about $4.00 and it lasted our group through the whole dinner. It was absolutely delicious, as were the rolls served at the table. If we do return to a Charlie Gitto's for a meal, it definitely will not be this one. The smoke was just too overwhelming."

"We had a group heading to a concert at Riverport and wanted a really good dinner. Gitto's was great. They were quick to take our order, they brought everything at a fast pace and the service was sharp and friendly. We were impressed with the food flavor and quality, especially the (extra spicy) red pastas. We had good wine at a reasonable price and found the overall experience to be very good. While it's not "The Hill," it's a nice place to enjoy food before a show or night out at the casino. Very pleased and will return."

My daughter likes lobster bisque, she said it was ok She had the seafood risotto, excellent!

"Went for Mothers Day. Food quality has slipped since our last visit. I had the Seafood Suzanne and it was mostly noodles. It had three small clams and two shrimp. Seems to me to be way overpriced. My wifes dinner was more inline with previous experience. I mentioned my experience to the waiter and he shrugged it off. The restaurants on the hill and in Chesterfield are much better."

Our waiter kept us waiting quite a long time before even taking drink orders, then kept disappearing all throughout the dinner. Food was not up to par. "my husband told are waiter when I left the table that it was my 60th Birthday and would like to see if they had a cake or something to surprise me, the waiter said they did. our bill came and unknown to me my husband was getting upset cause the waiter forgot. my husband left the table to find the waiter to remind him before we left.... my husband was unset, but over all the meal was very good...and my cake too!!!"

"The service was good and so was the food. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. We were there for my mother-in-laws 82nd birthday and she was very pleased and so were we when the waiter brought out a small cake. (Very nice touch!)
I have one complaint about the place however, and that was the kitchen area and the noise coming from it. That really put a damper on our dining experience. When we go back, I definitely won't sit near the kitchen area again."

"Holy cow, the service was fantastics, maybe just a tad over doting. The food was outof this world. The portions were huge. Both my wife nad I ended up taking some of our dinner home. The price was a little high I thought. We paid $90 for dinner for 2. Just the 2 entrees and 1 appetizer. No alcohol at all. We will definitely be going back."
