"We ate at Quinns prior to seeing Wizard of OZ. We ate from the Mirvish Theatre Menu, which included a salad or soup, several main course choices and dessert.The food was very good. Both my husband and I had the Steak Frites and it was delicious.But the best part of the whole experience was our waitress. She was absolutely amazing. The most friendly, hospitable server I have encountered in a long time, yet not so overbearing that we could not enjoy our meal and each others company.We will return!"

"A rather dark, not well lit Irish pub & steakhouse in the Sheraton Centre but the food and service was excellent. They have the largest cocktail list I have ever seen. The food service was quite fast. We had a New York Steak which was charcoal grilled exactly the way we ordered it and it tasted heavenly (Ontario AAA dry aged beef, 10 oz. for $34.00). It came with garlic mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked mix of vegetables that still retained their crunch and colour, incl. the aspirations a.k.a. broccolini. I went "all duck"; the home made duck liver pate was excellent ($12) and for the main I had succulent crispy duck leg (confit) on Israeli couscous, fig reduction sauce and veggies (special). Too bad it's not on the regular menu.($20)"

"A friend and I had met in Toronto to catch up having not seen each other for a year so we were greatly looking forward to our reservation at Quinn's, as we were staying at The Sheraton Centre and thus did not have to venture out. For the most part it was a wonderful evening. The service was fabulous - I was sorry I did not get the young lady's name but she was efficient and attentive. The food was very good and the only drawback was that as the evening got a little later there was a larger table very near us who became quite raucous and noisy. Definitely detracted from the upscale, intimate atmosphere I felt would be their signature. Perhaps it is trying to cover too many bases? Cozy fine dining? romantic atmosphere? sports bar?"

"We celebrated my husband's birthday party with a dinner party of 7 people. Although there was no kid's menu, the kitchen accommodated my son with a meal from their lunch menu. They also pizzazzed our carry-in ice cream cake by cutting and serving it with flowers and drizzle, to make it look special.

"We braved a winter storm to get to Quinns for our Valentines Day dinner, but it was well worth it. Excellent restaurant, great food and outstanding service!! Our server was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu items, different cuts of meat, cooking methods, etc. We especially enjoyed the Mussels, the Filet Mignon Neptune and the Creme Brulee! Parking was a minor annoyance however, as there was nothing close by.

"My only complaint is I asked for a booth which was set for four and the hostess stated NO there is a group of four going there, and then we were there for two hours and the table was NOT used, and two other couples came in and sat in similar booths. Meal on Valentine’s Day was good, service was good. Irish whiskey was GREAT!"

"We went for winterlicious and our main course was initially overcooked. We both asked for medium rare steak and they were both burnt. It smelled like burnt charcoal when eating it. We notified the waiter and he brought it back. When it came out the second time, the steak was rare, almost blue. We notified the waiter again. The third time was much better and cooked to medium rare to how we preferred it. Food is not worth the price we paid for. I've been to many other winterlicious/summerlicious restaurants that were the same fixed price menu and they were well worth it. Would probably not go back."

"The menu seemed to have fewer items than when I last dined here (about 3 months ago). In fact, not sure that their website menu, matched with what we reviewed in the restaurant.
The Gaelic Steak was good, there was lots of rocket/arugula, very few fingerling potatoes, tasty blue cheese.
Had the Apple Pie for dessert, was obviously frozen after they "defrosted" it. The middle was ice cold the end by the crust was warm. Good flavour, but disappointing that it was not hot all the way through, and not freshly made.

Server was okay. Although he forgot to ring in our discount coupon, when we received the bill, he took it away and adjusted the pricing accordingly. Wasn't sure if the mistake was intentional or not."

"The overall place wasn't that bad, my biggest issue was the service. It took forever to get service and on-top of that we received the wrong order for our lunch. However, the two things that really pulled me away from thinking too critically of this place was the Scotch list and the Steak Frites. Both incredible"

"Some of the food was cold and when sent back to be reheated, came back lukewarm. Service was terrible with mistakes and forgotten items and very long spans of time between courses or even seeing the waitress. It was not busy at all so there was no reason for this."

"We went for the Winterlicious lunch, and it was very satisfying. Steak wasn't cooked as desired and I was surprised because this was the third time I've had it in this restaurant. My two previous visits were for dinner though so it might be a different staff. Anyway, I was still happy with all three courses. They were good portions and well worth it for the price."

"I came here for winterlicious and I definitely enjoyed my experience. The staff were friendly. The food was done to a high level of standard. The only thing I can say is its amazing, but nothing blew my mind away. I would come here again for sure and recommend it to a lot of friends."

"Went for Winterlicious.
First were offered regular menus and definitely got the feeling that they were not that interested in promoting Winterlicious.
Our service throughout the meal was efficient but without any kind of friendliness whatsoever.
Started with the Mushroom, Beef & Barley soup which was good. Had the Roast beef which was tender but overcooked. It came with cold Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the Sauteed vegetables consisted on 2 roasted pepper quarters and a very skinny piece of Chinese broccoli, woefully inadequate on the veggie sides.
Dessert was a small piece of whiskey cake which was quite dense.
The meal just was not memorable enough to return."

"Would not recommend Quinn's. Our steak was very undercooked and the prime rib was fatty. Service was slow and then non-existent once we asked to have the steak cooked a little more. Management did take the cost of the steak off the bill, however, all we really wanted was to have the steak cooked properly. I believe a steakhouse should have a better handle on how to cook a steak."
