"Dined with 1 other person for Downtown Dining Week. Waited 20+ mins for our salad and got handed our entrees. I refused them and asked for the salads and received the reply "Oh it's crazy, you know" like it was no big deal. Dining took about 2 hours for 3 courses. Food was tasty so their chef is very good, but with other restaurant choices in Milwaukee, I look forward to trying somewhere else."

"Went for dinner here on destination Thursday - great deal at $30 per person for a three course meal with paired drinks.
1. parking was an absolute nightmare!
2. The food was pretty fantastic - the salad was pretty meh bit the main course and dessert were great and the portions were well sized. They didn't skimp on the alcohol in the paired cocktails either - a nice surprise.
3. the service - meh. We had to wait at the bar for a good 10 minutes despite having had reservations and there were empty tables while we were waiting. When we were actually seated at one of the tables which had been open the whole time, it didn't even have silverware."

"Their menu is small plates but well worth it. A little pricey but totally get what you pay for. Great food and unique drinks with a great ambiance. Highly suggest their Destination Thursday dining special (3 course meal with drink pairings from a featured country for $30)"

"Service was bad. It wasn't even busy. The food took a very long time to come out. It was ok at best. The price of the drinks and the food, were very high even for downtown, and the drinks were poorly mixed. The wine selection was good, but again, over priced. You can get better food at a lower price with better service at many other establishments in this fine city. Skip it."

"This restaurant group has good reputation and this was my first visit to one of their restaurants. The food was pretty good. I had their burger, which was the best burger I've had in a long time, although I rarely eat burgers. The cocktail I had was tasty, but pretty expensive for what you get. The service was not anything special. Our server could have at least pretended she wanted to be there, which would have made the experience much better. Music selection was weird for the decor. Nothing really seemed to meld for the ambiance. People dressed up and people in t-shirts and shorts. All in all it was OK. With so many other restaurants to go to and try in this city I won't be going back anytime soon though."

"I love the ambiance of this place - the coppor ceiling, cozy booths and classic bar. I ordered the Destination Thursday three course meal with cocktail pairings featuring the cuisine of Fiji. I was entralled with the cocktails - they were interesting and delicious and not cloyingly sweet. The food was also scrumptious and beautifully presented. My husband ordered off the regular menu. The fried smelt brought back wonderfully nostalgic memories of his grandmother's cooking. The mushroom tart was savory and satisfying. He also ordered a ginger cocktail that was quite refreshing. The service was also spot on, not rushed but always prompt and professional. We got to our theater show on time."

"My husband and I loved the unique menu on the night we dined. Thursdays are called Destination Thursdays. The menu changes from week to week...but three courses, complete with three drinks for $30. It couldn't be beat! The service was great and the staff are willing to answer any questions. It was the perfect place for our anniversary!"

"Food was very good. Parsnip soup outstanding. Service slow. We were there at 6:45pm on a Saturday and the noise level from the music speakers caused us to speak louder to hear our conversation across the table. Will return, hopefully to find it less noisy."

"Really cool drink menu and talented bartenders, delicious small plates and tasty dessert! We came here for a girls night and ordered the cheese platter and mushroom flatbread. The cheese platter has some of the most flavorful cheeses we've tried, plus lots of goodies, like bread, dried fruit and nuts. The flatbread was incredible - fresh ingredients and great flavors. There was also live music - very fun without being obtrusive to conversation. Highly recommended!"

"Went here Saturday night after going to the auto show. We live in Chicago and had a 90 min ride home. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:15 and didn't leave til 9! It took at least 20 min to receive our drink order, and another 15 til we got our chicken noodle soup. We got our dinners around 8 and ordered dessert at 8:20. At 8:40 our waitress apologized for the long wait and said our piece of cake would be out soon, but took another 10 minutes! The food was fine but the we thought the service was dismal. The waitress was very nice, and the restaurant comped the dessert and one entree, but they really had an off night in the kitchen, timing-wise. Restaurant was full when we left, but nearly empty when we arrived."

"This was an incredible meal. We visited on Thursday for the three course Chilean dinner. You cannot go wrong on a Thursday here. Had a cocktail at the bar which was a delight in itself. Cannot wait to try all the other menu items. Definitely something to remember."

"Love it. Service was a little slow, but we were forewarned that it would be due to a rehearsal dinner going on. The food was really, really great. Surprised by loud music at the end that made it impossible to talk, so we packed up and scrammed, but look forward to returning."
