In the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, Maverick prides itself on using classic and modern cooking techniques to create innovative menus rooted in modern, regional American cuisine. Executive Chef Emmanuel Eng sources as much organic produce, sustainable meats and fish as possible from local markets and farms. They offer a constantly changing selection of wines from all over the world, and Wine Director/Owner Mike Pierce is always happy to find a wine to complement your meal. Maverick serves dinner nightly and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Maverick is a recipient of several awards over the last seven years including Best New Restaurant and Best Brunch by 7x7 Magazine and San Francisco Magazine, as well as a recent highlight of Maverick’s Bacon Butter Burger in Grub Street SF’s 50 Best Burgers in San Francisco.
