Roti is about experiencing a feast - a celebration shared with family and friends in a warm modern setting. A place where authentic and modern Indian cuisine is prepared using high quality local and organic ingredients and served in a refined style. With an elegant ambiance, a meticulously paired wine list, special Indian cocktails, and high quality Indian cuisine, Roti Indian Bistro has been voted the Best Indian restaurant in San Mateo County and has earned four out of four stars. We are celebrating our 3rd anniversary this year. We also recently received the "As Fresh As It Gets" award from the State of California.
"Roti was one of my favorited restaurants. Unfortunately our dining experience will be our last and I have unfavorited Roti. We've probably visited Roti half a dozen times, and have always enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance because the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately Roti has bumped up their prices all over the menu and our dinner came to $74 for two people and not much food. Chicken Tikki Masala was $18, Prawns Palak $23, appetizer sampler $16, and with chai teas & naan that was $74. No drinks! The food was wonderful except the appetizer sampler, it was a bit dry and not much of a sampler with many choices. We will not return, and that's rather sad. We drove from SSF to visit Roti. Good luck."

"We dined on a quiet evening, with only a few other diners in the downstairs area and none upstairs, and were surprised at how long it took to be served. The food was very good when it did arrive and we enjoyed the evening. The menu offers enough variety to satisfy even those who are not fond of curries."

"Roti was such a disappointing experience. Having been there several times and thoroughly enjoying the meals, this time I was put off by the lack of ventilation in the restaurant, as well as the tasteless food. The special vegetable plate, the blue lake beans were in fact frozen beans and tasted awful. The chicken dish was extremely dull and the lamb was actually gray. Not a pleasant experience at all. And it was expensive too- and for no good reason."

"This is our second time eating at Roti. We love this place! We don't venture to Burlingame for dinner very often, but I think we will start going to Roti as often as possible!"

"The menu is incredibly tempting and varied and the food is delicious! wonderful vegetarian selections with no sacrifice of taste, texture or complexity. We go often and love it; the Tandoori Chicken is especially marvelous. The only negative was that it was very chilly inside and it's a bit too dark for us. Otherwise it's one of our favorite restaurants."
