"This was our second visit. The food was as good as we remembered. The drink prices-a tad expensive. Our server was very attentive and super friendly. The food came out as ordered and quite quickly. Excellent chips and salsa. Wish the guacamole portions were a bit bigger (only because it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!) Will be back!"

"Excellent and authentic Mexican cuisine but be careful of the hot sauces, when they ask if you want it hot from 1 to 10, we said 8 and got burned, but deliciously so."

"First time trying Frida, we have been meaning to go for a while. We love picking up their fresh chips and dip each weekend at Wychwood Barns or the Brickworks. Went for a very early dinner at 5:30 before heading downtown for a show, so it was quiet. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, very accommodating and prompt. Food was fresh and delicious - great authentic Mexican (we have been to great restaurants off the beaten track in Mexico and food was comparable). Margaritas were also excellent and authentic. Will definitely try again at a busier time (assuming we can get a table at this small and popular spot)"

"This was our second time at Frida. My fiance wanted to go back for the duck tacos, which he claims are amazing. I am a vegetarian, and unfortunately, there are only 3 non-meat options on the menu. Not wanting to have the same dish I had last time, I opted for the tamale. After about 10 minutes, the server returned and told me that there were in fact no tamales that night, and so I asked for the third option - Chiles Rellenos. This was the WORST dish I have ever eaten. It was tasteless and watery, no spice, very little flavour to the chile, and stuffed with too much cheese. Very disapointing. After my order, I overheard another customer asking for vegetarian options, and she was told they were now out of chiles as well."

"WiFi for customers (and not just for the owner(s)!) sure would be a nice touch. It would also have been nice to have been able to try the buñelos which were on the Winterlicious menu."

"Well the restaurant was cold in terms of temperature. The Margaritas were acidic and cheap tasting, too little for $14.00 a drink. Yes the Guacamole with good yet not the best I have ever had.Overall out of 5 stars I would rate this experience as a 2.5 out of 5."
