"Several times a year some friends go to dinner at a quality restaurant in our own city. I had never heard of this place before and was doubtful there would be a quality restaurant tucked between the airport and I-5. The decor and the la escaping g were beautiful, the food was amazing. Not only was my duck perfectly cooked, but the accompanying vegetables, usually an afterthought, were delicious. I've heard their brunch is better than Salty's. I will be testing it soon."

"Who would have thought such a special place would be near the airport? The setting was quiet and scenic and definitely Northwest. The server was exceptional as well as the offerings. Well plan to dine there anytime I'm in Seattle and will definitely recommend to others."

"Our first time and we will definitely be back for outdoor dining this summer. Lovely wooded setting in surprising location near airport! Food quality is excellent: fresh and creative combinations presented beautifully. Portions perfectly sized. Service was attentive without being overdone and our special timing request was honored. We sat in lower lobby of lodge near large fireplace, big picture windows and lots of wood -- very northwest. Sometimes felt a bit too open for our romantic dinner, but that might have had more to do with the loud conversation of the table next to us. Next time, we'll ask for a table apart from the banquette seating."

"Who would think this incredible place is minutes from Sea-Tac? We sat outside with a heater and they even provided a blanket! The food is first class with a wonderful, interesting menu selection. The server Tim was awesome. We really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing they need to work on is their bar service - it took forever to get a drink so poor Tim kept having to apologize. Other than that, it was flawless."

"Cedarbrook is a conference center minutes from Seattle Airport...but oh so much more. Lucious gounds, beautiful archtecture and then a devine restaurant. If you don't already know, the chef has world credentials and the menu is based on locally produces foods."

"My wife and I are foodies and go out to dinner at least weekly. We had seen Copperleaf on OpenTable before, but didn't feel like making the drive down to SeaTac. We had a little difficulty finding the place, as google and apple maps took us through some odd neighborhoods. The hotel is in an oasis in the middle of a residential area near SeaTac.
The dinner was fantastic. I ordered the 5 course tasting menu with the pairing. The pea soup, salad, salmon, pork and chocolate dessert were outstanding. This is my new favorite restaurant in Seattle."

"The stumbled upon the Cedarbrooke lodge when we were looking for a one night stay prior to an early morning SEA-TAC flight. We hit the jackpot with the Cedarbrooke Lodge. The dining room is part of the main lodge and overlooks their beautiful grounds. The food was some of the best I've ever had; the service impeccable and the total experience deserving of high praise. We will definitely be back."

"This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but it is well worth the price. The tasting menu with the wine pairings was a real treat.

"The former WAMU training center right next to Seatac now houses a great lodge and restaurant. You get a lot of really nice features for the money because the current owners bought it at auction after WAMU ended their spending spree.
The food is stellar, the waitstaff is awesome and there are fewer than 20 tables, so book early and often. This is a place I'll return to again and again. The food is primarily locally-sourced (nettles, morels) and the wine list is outstanding and a good value.

"Hands down the best food I've ever eaten in my life. The flavor combinations are amazing. Plan to linger over several courses, because this food begs to be savored. "Copperleaf continues to be one of Seattle's best undiscovered restaurants, no doubt because of its location close to Sea-Tac International Airport. But Copperleaf and its parent, Cedarbrook Lodge, are an idyllic world away from the airport strip with beautiful appointments and a pleasingly rural setting. This was our second visit to Copperleaf and it will, no doubt, not be our last. But our diminished rating for service (above) was the result of staff confusion over our reservation that led to a frustrating delay (more than 15 minutes) in our party of six being shown to our table while we waited in the bar. Everything else at Copperleaf was commendable, but this glitch in initial service was not in keeping with the food or the setting."

"Overall, not bad but not great either. For the price, I expected a lot more. Food was okay but probably won't be going back. A couple of the dishes were really great and most were average or below. I went with my boyfriend for a special occasion and we thought if was going to be one of those amazing dining experiences. But 3 hours and $300 later, we left feeling like it was 'meh.' The service was slow. And not 'high end restaurant, paced well' slow, just very slow. After dessert, we waited over thirty minutes for the bill. And it is a personal pet peeve of mine when I frequently have to beg for a water refill."

"Food & service were outstanding! The offerings are on the limited side, but what you find there is so unique, fresh & delicious, and uniquely prepared. Not really a place for families with smsller children (though the kids that were dining there were ridiculously well behaved). The cost was what one would expect for such a delightful meal: not cheap, but neither was the dining experience. What was a surprise is that this is a restaurant attached to a hotel! I would actually go back just for the restaurant!

"How can you not love food from a Chef who used to be at French Laundry in Napa Valley? The cuisine does not disappoint! Wonderful meals and items offered. Even though this is set in SeaTac area, it really is a beautiful and peaceful location with views of nature and landscape that takes you far away from any typical Airport Restaurant. Parking is complimentary. This is great for a business meeting lunch and social celebration."
