Brasa Grill
Located downtown in the historic Warehouse District, The Brasa Grill Steakhouse is Cleveland’s first Churrascaria (choo-rah-scah-REE-ah), the name used to describe a restaurant that serves meat, mostly grilled rodizio style, a method of serving the different cuts of meat that originated in the south of Brazil in the early 1800's. Brasa Grill serves a wide variety of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc., in succession, to each diner individually right at the table, thus there is not a traditional menu. The restaurant features fixed-price continuous tableside service. In addition diners can choose from 40 different salads including sushi, seafood & pastas at their leisure from salad bar.

"The salad bar would have been enough, but we ending up with the whole feast. Once they start, they don't stop coming with the delcious meat options! I took my boyfriend there to celebrate his graduation. Definitely worth it, he is truly a carnivore, and was so happy!"

"Brasa has such exceptional food! The salad bar was amazing, with lots of different favors to choose from. My fiancé mentioned how the lasagna was the best he has ever had and was amazed that it came from a Brazilian restaurant (and he's Italian!). Everyone there was very welcoming as well. It is definitely one of a kind, you will not find anything like it in the Northeast Ohio area."

"As some of the meats were good, others were to salty and portions cut were extremely small. May have been better if they had asked if you wished for a second piece at the time they were there instead of when they ce back 20 minutes later. Some type of strachy side dish would have been nice also. As for atmospherr, the tables/chairs are fairly close together which made leaving your table almost impossible."

"After reading other reviews (which were all over the map) wasn't sure what to expect. Ended up being a great dining experience! While not all of the meat was outstanding, most of it was very good. We especially loved the flank steak, lamb and parmesan filet. We had excellent service. There was a steady parade of servers coming by our table. The salad bar was a bit of a feeding frenzy. The lady behind me just couldn't wait for me to put the serving spoon down so she could grab it. I just wanted to scream at her "back off, you'll get your turn!" - but I didn't. Anyway, we had a great time and I would definitely go back."

"Brasa Grill has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland. It has been a couple of years since I had the chance to dine here. I was very pleased to find that Brasa Grill has gotten only better! The food is tremendous! All of the meat selections are fresh, delicious, and presented with impeccable style. The wine selection is also fantastic. The service on my latest visit was outstanding. I was interviewing an applicant for a position, and she unexpectedly brought her family to the restaurant. The staff did a remarkable job with handling this situation, and I am deeply grateful for all of their help and patience! Remarkably professional and extremely courteous. I look forward to my next visit to Brasa Grill!!"

"Great first Experience for my family. A unique experience to celebrate my son's graduation. Salard Bar amazing. Service was great! My son won't forget this. One negative, when I booked on line, I added it was a celebration for a graduate, the waitress didn't say anything. Why ask for comments if they are not recognized. Not a big deal, but that special customer service would have put the experience over the top! Highly recommend for a group outing!"

"I've always held this family of restaurants in very high regard. Always sharing that the food and service is outstanding. My last visit was a disaster. I had a large party and made a reservation well in advance. Upon arrival there was enough chairs and was told that the staff was informed less people would be dining. Ok, maybe there was a mix-up but that doesn't justify the staff arguing with me in the middle of the restaurant and proclaiming it was my fault, their solution was to put the rest of my party at a table across the room. Drink service was slow. The meat made one pass and that was it. If you weren't ready for whatever was on the spit at that very moment, you probably weren't going to see it again. Seemed almost on purpose."

"The food was good and plentiful, perhaps a little too plentiful. The servers were attentive and very friendly. I think there should have been desserts available without having to pay extra for them. It is impossible to really eat $40 worth of food at this restaurant--that is obvious, so it seems a little greedy to tack on additional charges for extras. In addition, I think it is quite wasteful that you cannot take home the food you were not able to finish. It just seems egregiously wasteful to me.
In conclusion, I have eaten here before and I am sure I most likely will again, just not very often."

"Service was great although some of the staff were hard to understand with their heavy Brazilian accents! It was quite an authentic Brazilian Grill! The salad bar was fantastic. Some of the meat delivered to the table was over-cooked and a little dry. The top sirloin and filet mignon w/parmesan crust were my favorites. My husband enjoyed the pork roast. The ribs and chicken were not impressive though. There was soooo much food! They even brought us chicken hearts on request. We definitely got our money's worth of food here. The key is to arrive hungry and pace yourself."

"The restaurant consistently provides excellent service, the ambience and food are amazing. From the graciousness and professionalism of Jade the hostess, to Stephen and Sam who provide the quintessential dining experience. Benjamin the floor manager and master meat carver Vinnie are engaging and help make this an all star cast..
Prior to getting into the restauranr my wife fell across the street from the restaurant injuring her leg, thankfully she's alright. Much to my amazement Landy the general manager and Suzanne the owner checked to see how she was doing. The heartfelt inquiries certainly were above and beyond what you would normally see at a restaurant, but again this is much much more than a restaurant."

"A group of ten patronized the restaurant. We received great service and the staff placed us in a private dining area. I have been to several different Brazillian steak houses around the US. Brasa is comparatively priced. The parm encrusted steak was a hit with the group. Some meats, particularly the first round of lamb and flank steak were a bit overcooked. All in all, a good place to go."

"This place is perfect for a special occasion visit, especially if you like to try a little of a lot of different cuts of meat. It is very reminiscent of the Churrascarias I visited on my trips to Brazil, and the food was every bit as good. The options on the "salad bar" are terrific, although you have to be careful to not eat too much. And it can be a little difficult to tell what some of the selections are as they are not labeled. The staff was prompt and friendly and accommodating. It is a little bit pricey, but for a unique experience and the quality of the food I feel I got a good value for my money. I will definitely go again."

"Nice place. Meats are delicious, gives you an opportunity to try some unique meats without feeling you wasted your money on something you may not like. Im not into buffets, but at this restaurant your side dishes are set up on the buffet, and I didnt find much on it to be very appealing. "fast service and a great experience. you get a card with a red side and a green side. when green, servers will walk up to your table with skewers of meat. they are quick too. flip it to red and enjoy your meal, then flip it back to green and enjoy some more. excellent experience and will definitely go back."

"The place was a tad loud for a pricier restaurant. I was expecting a "romantic night out" and the restaurant was like a loud cafeteria.The servers were on us the second we sat down.The first waiter just poured us some water then never returned.The second waiter came by about 30 seconds later and gave us the sh peal on how this place works since it was our first time there and got us our drinks. A third waiter, gave us snacky food.He was friendly and was on top of everything we needed when the drink waiter wasn't around.The salad bar was good with a mix of everything.I will definitely be back for a special occasion. With that price, my bank account took a shot but totally worth it every once in awhile."

"Second time there. First time was a pleasant experience. The following occasion was a poor experience and did not meet our expectations for timely or attentive service. Although we had reservations, we waited an hour to be seated, which may have been all right except they didn't do anything to make the wait tolerable. The hostess and manager put us in a corner and left us to wait. We should have walked out, but I was taking my boyfriend for a special occasion and it was already late into the evening.
Once seated, the service was scattered and we felt we were intruding on the wait staff's time.
Too many tastier restaurants to waste time and money on this experience again."

"We had a reservation for a party of 8. We were seated quickly and served just as fast with gauchos bringing meat to the table. Unfortunately, the food wasn't nearly as flavorful as other Brazilian style steakhouses I've been to across the country. The ribs were overcooked and lacking flavor; many of the meat cuts were the same, even the filet wrapped in bacon. The best menu item was the Parmesan filet, probably followed by the top sirloin. Most others lacked flavor. I'm not sure if I will be back; I may reserve my Brazilian steakhouse visits for vacations to other cities."

"Our seating wasn't the best, as it was wedged against a pillar. The restaurant is definitely more suitable for groups and the service is more geared to cater to them. We had a little trouble getting served initially, but the hostess/area boss went out of her way to push the servers to the less visible seating and ensure we got access to all the meats. Overall, we were satisfied, but the bill seemed a bit steep for two."

"Salad bar could use a little work in terms of selection. Additionally,the glass "roof" over the salad bar was too low. I could barely get lettuce because I'm too tall to get my arm to the back. Everything else was great! Oh beer selection was weak. Ok that's all. :)"

"My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time, despite the fact that they shoe horn you in there. There were people all around us, sometimes just an arm's length away, and yet you didn't feel like your space was being violated. It could get pricy if everyone is drinking (there were 8 of us), but well worth the price."

"The food is still very good (been there many times) but the service is going downhill fast!! The time prior to this that I went the service was also poor, you wait a LONG time for a waiter to come to your table to even offer drinks once you are seated and then wait AGAIN for them to bring the drinks, sides, etc. We turned our card to green as soon as we sat down and then carvers came to the table but we didn't have plates for them to put the meat on, we put it on the small plates anyways. Everyone in the corner of the restaurant that we were in was complaining about the carvers not coming back to our area, complaints were given to MULTIPLE people but nothing was done. The waitress said she told them but they still didn't bring food."

"Save your money go somewhere else this . This is my second visit to Brasa and it will be my last. The meal is just not worth $40. It's Golden Corral food at 4x the price. Both times I left feeling like I could have eaten more but I just didn't want what they were offering. Go to a good steak house."
