"The food for the Sunday brunch was nicely laid out, but there seemed to be a lack of silverware. For instance, I realize the latte part of the afternoon is not the ideal time to attend a brunch, however, if the facility is willing to seat guests, they should ensure the guest has everything necessary to enjoy the brunch and beverages, like a spoon."

"I would recommend Venezia but not on a Friday or Saturday night. It was deafening. Perhaps there is no way to dampen the noise but if there is, please do it! Of course a full restaurant can be noisy, but this was bad!
I don't like your "Ambience is required" and "Overall Rating" is required. That is going to make people say, oh, the heck with this questionnaire. Ask your customers kindly - please complete this form by answering x and y. Using "required" looks like we are applying for a loan or we are filling out a college application. Talk to us nicely please since we are doing you a favor."

"I've dined at Venezia may times, and the food and service have been consistently very good for many years. A recent renovation of the restaurant has updated their look and improved the overall ambience. They menu has been tweaked a little as well in terms of presentation rather than the offerings themselves. The food remains outstanding. The food here tastes like food I've eaten in Italy which is a high compliment. The view remains spectacular. I'll be back."

"Our first time at Venezia was a triumph. View of bay is lovely, with ample window seating. Restaurant is designed with floor to ceiling windows to make the most of the waterview. Decor is understated to emphasize spectacular waterview.Food was excellent and service impeccable. I think they do a bit better job at Italian than Seafood. My Ravioli AlForno with Sausage was outstanding, but my guy thought his Swordfish was dry. The strawberry ice cream dessert was an unexpected WOW. We will be back!"

"This was the third time we've been to Venezia during restaurant week. They always provide excellent menu choices and delicious desserts. My only complaint is that only house wine is offered by the glass at lunchtime. We will definitely return!"

"We are Very picky when it comes to good food and good service. They put the two of us in a separate room from the rest of the crowd, very romantic, there was only one other couple there throughout our Dinner. The Waiter was fantastic and the food was incredible and the Dessert too. And the prices are great too, you'd expect to pay more, and we would have.

"A little trouble finding it, using the website directions. Cel phoned the hostess and got pointers to find the signs to direct us to Venizia's. Once at the Restaurant door a printed sign informed us the Restaurant is under renovation and we should enter into the Banquet Function door to be seated in a ballroom. As it was our first visit, we were not disappointed, but the enormous ballroom was larger than needed for the few diners who ventured out on the raw rainy night. Our server, Carlene, was quite professional and presented the specials very well. Both myself and friend were suffering from head colds and we were not able to sample offerings from the bar. The food we ordered was excellent."

"Venezia has a broad enough menu to appeal to a group, large parking lot, that it is a good place to meet after work. Most menu items are italian standards with a broader meat based menu. I'd recommmend the seafood trio appetizer, short ribs, broiled scallops. It's pretty quiet midweek in the winter and they are in the middle of a large renovation. The restaurant was temp located in the banquet room, which made for an odd experience with so few guests. The bar area reno is done and it looks much brighter and current. I definitely will enjoy a drink after work there."

"This visit was a luncheon with 3 friends so the restaurant was not that busy and we could take our time chatting & visiting without feeling someone was waiting for our table. Unfortunately, the restaurant was undergoing renovations so we dined in the ballroom and it was very cold - our feet were frozen! I believe this was because of the glass windowed wall overlooking the water & it was a cold day as well as the plastic curtained off area where renovations were happening (with little or no heat) so it was very, very drafty. I would definite check to be sure renovations were finished before returning! I wish there had been a notice about the work being done on Open Table when I made the reservations & I would have selected another place."

"I love coming to this restaurant for their wonderful fresh seafood dishes. Brought my wife for Valentine's Day. They had a special menu. I was disappointed that the chef was only preparing from this and not in addition to the full menu. My oversight.
Had the veal chop. It was well prepared and delicious. My wife had the salmon. First one was burnt. After some convincing the waitress replaced it in short time. It was very good and tastey. Over all, we were seated on time, had a bit of delay with waitress but in her defense she was very busy. Didn't think we should have had to push the waitress to replace the over cooked fish. She did check back to make sure we were happy. I will be back for full menu but probably not V'day."

"VERY unhappy. Very loud, could not hear the one person I was having dinner with. Waiter, horrible! We were expecting good service and good food.. Our waiter, came over 15 minutes after we were sat, rushed us to order drinks, and left before we could ask for an appetizer. Ordered the filet mignon special and the Sicilian seafood dish. Seafood dish was not bad. As far as the 38$ filet special, horrible. We asked for the steak medium rare to order, and when we got it, it was medium well, a small part in the middle was pink, not red and juicy. Even with the steak cooked medium well, it was a very poor cut and not a filet. Our waiter was rude and in a rude tone he told us we were wrong and left, neglecting to inquire on the rest of dinner."
