"My wife, mother and I went there to celebrate someone's birthday. There was a little apprehension when we saw how fancy the place looked; while we were certainly dressed better than our beach attire, we weren't in anything resembling formal attire. This did not matter at all. The staff were courteous, friendly, and quick, and we were seated right on time. Our waitress was great, our food was outstanding, and the entire experience was, as the title implies, excellent."

"I had to find a place for a special anniversary and this place looked like a good spot. I made reservations and via open table and made note of the anniversary. We were seated and our waiter wished us a happy anniversary as when he got to the table. I was impressed right off the bat. Service was great and the food was excellent."

"We moved to Virginia Beach about six months ago. Someone told us this restaurant was one of the best in the area and we should try it if we liked Italian. This was our second visit. The service and the food are excellent. It is quiet. You can actually have a conversation with whomever you are dinning. It is a tad on the expensive side for just a night out in this area, but if you haven't tried it, do. You will find well worth the expense."

"The food was good.We had the stuffed red peppers, shrimp gorganzola and eggplant appetizers. The eggplant was a lttle tough and the gorganzola sauce very runny. The entrees were all good especially the stuffed veal chop ordered medium was served medium rare. The homemade tiramisu was a great way to finish the meal."

"We recently brought our granddaughter who was recently stationed at Naval Base and new to the area. We wanted some place pretty, 5 star, special and Italian. Aldo's exceeded all of our expectations. As New Yorkers, we appreciate a fine dining restaurant. The staff was wonderful and our Easter Dinner was perfect. Thank You. Aldo's will be a go to restaurant for us whenever we are visiting our granddaughter.
