Burtons Grill is a refreshing, casual restaurant serving contemporary, all American cuisine. Located in the Marketplace at Hilltop in Virginia Beach, Burton Grill menus cover all the bases - from crisp salads and hearty sandwiches to steak, seafood, pasta and gluten-free dishes.(You don’t want to miss the Burtons burger; crowned the best burger on the beach!) The perfect place for lunch, after-work drinks, dinner inside, or on their outdoor patio, Burtons Grill is open Monday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, and brunch on Sunday. The Burtons Grill private dining room seats up to 50 and is great for business functions as well as anniversaries, engagements, showers, and birthdays.

"Great casual place to go for either brunch, lunch or dinner. Consistent food quality (good - very good) and always friendly and attentive service. Nice wine selection at moderate prices. Always enjoy taking the family there (including our 2 adolescent boys!) and the oldest, if and when in town, who like his Dad is quite a 'foodie'. Definitely 'thumbs up'!"

"I looked all over the Hampton Roads area for a decent restaurant to honor my wife on Mother's Day. I did not want to take her to a popular franchise were we often dine. Burton's sufficed all of my needs with their special Mother's Day brunch menu. I will definitely return and recommend Burton's for any special occasion. Very adult/romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the choice of preparation for the kid's menu items."

"Our family loves Burton's Grill for special celebrations. Three of us have Celiac disease and very much appreciate Burton's substantial gluten-free menu and commitment to serving excellent food to all guests, even those with food allergies. Our visit this Saturday was something of a disappointment, however. The food was ok, but not fabulous (not quite hot enough, too much garnish, over-cooked chicken...) and the service was truly sub par -- very slow, and not attentive. We had to track down our server several times to ask for assistance."

"Burton's Grill accommodated our diverse group well. We had 12 people from age 17 to nearly 80 and needed handicap accessibility. They also had great options for the gluten free members of our group. The staff was gracious and patient with prompt responses to our requests, tailoring a meal to a request for a changed ingredient and splitting our check. I would highly recommend this restaurant for their great ambiance and affordable menu."

"Absolutely wonderful! Me, my husband, and my parents went there for dinner after our wedding ceremony and we are so glad we chose this restaurant! The food was amazing, ambiance was perfect, and the staff were very nice. My mother has a gluten sensitivity and she loved the gluten free menu options, she even said the rolls were the best gluten free rolls she had ever tasted! We will definitely be returning to this establishment many times."

"AMAZING restaurant! Went with three kids and three gluten free adults. All parties LOVED the food. It was such a treat to be served warm, fresh gluten free rolls with our salads. Gluten free menu was extensive and offered many options for all of us. The Choosy (kids) Menu was also very flexible."

"Burton's truly is a neighborhood gem! We have never been disappointed in our menu choices. The rack of lamb was perfect. The short ribs were delicious delicious. The rockfish was a very generous portion. But the rosotto was to die for! It just doesn't get any better. Our server Bill anticipated our every need. Is it any wonder Burton's is our "go to" restaurant?

"We were looking for a place to enjoy a quite Easter Brunch without the crowds or buffet lines. We were pleasantly surprised with Burton's grill. They were willing to make breakfast for my picky child even though the items were not on the menu. He stated it was the best breakfast he has ever ordered from any restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and not noisy. The food was fresh and the service was outstanding. We have eaten at Burton's Grill many times before, but not on a holiday and we were a bit concerned it would be like the typical restaurant crowd and noise, but it was not. It was so much better than anticipated. From now on, we will be going to Burton's Grill for special days and holidays."

"I had rockfish, the special and it was delicious...table of four and we all thought tastes were great...BUT The SERVER gave me the wrong doggie bag and I ended up w my friend's take home. I often only eat half my main dish as by the time I have a salad,etc., I am full. I saved over half my rockfish and was savoring it as a lunchtime treat when the next day, in opening the doggie bag, I was so disappointingly surprised. Burton's should pay me back half of the cost of the entree, I think. The server was otherwise wonderful..but this lack of thought is a quite disappointing and leaves me w distasteful opinion of this restaurant."

"I've been to Burton's Grill before, but never setup a special occasion dinner until now. I had a reservation for 14 people originally and they were able to add to my reservation a few hours before which helped me out tremendously.
I had reservations for 15 in total. With any big party, most restaurants try to have everyone sit at one table. When we got to the table(s), there were two sets of tables, separated. Thought that was kind of odd. After seeing them, we requested for them to be combined and they did so which was great.
Food as always was delicious and JoAnn, our server, was top-notch. Be back again."

"Burton's never fails! For as busy as they were last Saturday night, they hit the mark in service and food. Our salmon was done to perfection, not too dry, not too moist, just right. Our server, Steve was great. He always knew when to refresh our wine, remove a plate, etc. It was the perfect evening!

"My husband and I went to Burton's Grill for a romantic dinner and were very impressed. I had been to Burton's in the past for lunch but hadn't been for dinner in a long time. The service was great. The food was great. The decor was modern, yet warm and inviting. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon our arrival. We were there on a Saturday and there was no long wait for our food. Each course arrived in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back."

"Have been here 4 times before; including a wedding shower private party(yes, they do those too!). The last time we were there was during restaurant week in 2012, and we were not impressed. So,and assuming that RW can be a little harried for everyone. Sat. after Valentines Day decided to give it another chance. We were not disappointed. My Steak Oscar was the best and most tender steak I have had in years;it was cooked to medium-rare perfection.The spouse had the scallops and shrimp which were bronzed and also cooked perfectly. She mentioned that although scallops weren't here favorite seafood that she would return to eat them here. Key Lime Pie, home-made and enough for 2.Only let down..out of sparkling water that night,but we will return!"

"We visitied for the first time on the 15th of February 2013. We made reservations and were seated promptly. The atmosphere was very nice. It was not noisy like some places so you can hear the music playing in the background and carry on a conversation. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The drinks, appetizers and food were all very good and came out in a timely manner. My only complaint is that all the entrees are priced at the high end of the price range for Virginia Beach. For example Tautogs doesn't charge 24 dollars for scallops and or ribs. Don't get me wrong the food is fine however there are other good places in this area that charge 6 to 8 dollars less per entree and are of the same quality and quantity."
