Located in The Little Nell Hotel, Montagna is a well-known hot spot for locals and visitors alike. Offering Rocky Mountain Artisian cuisine and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, the atmosphere is casual, yet elegant. Montagna overlooks the courtyard and offers patio dining, private dining rooms, and banquette seating. Montagna Bar has a casually intimate bistro feel with white marble tables and rattan furniture where you can enjoy drinks or a bite to eat. The staff extends a warm welcome and makes you feel right at home, attending to your every need. The talents of Executive Chef Ryan Hardy and Master Sommelier Richard Betts, who oversees a 15,000 bottle private wine cellar combine to create a very special meal. Montagna is the recipient of Wine Spectator's Grand Award and is available for private events.

"If you're coming for brunch, come in a group so everyone can order something different and you can share/sample off other's plates. I came alone for the brunch and because the servings were normal size, one dish filled me up so I was unable to experience other items. Disappointed with that. I'm certainly not suggesting this be a buffett. Only that brunch is not ideal for one person. Service was impeccable, however, I had no idea who my tip actually went to because so many people waited on me!"

"Chicken pate, pastas, and wine pairing were excellent. Sole was undercooked and chicken was tough and uninspiring. A bit annoyed at being told that a wonderful table was reserved for us only to find it was far from accurate."

"Unfortunately not what it used to be. Nothing was outstanding among the 3 courses. Elk tenderloin ordered medium rare was served medium to medium well. Still a nice venue and service is top notch. Maybe caught them on an off night but honestly the food was not nearly as good as Syzygy or Pinions."

"The food was excellent - classic fares done very well. Not flashy but just well prepare dishes. For the antipasti, the fois gras torchon and the yellowfin tuna crudo was excellent. All the pasta dishes were also very good, especially the dungeness crab capellini and the gnudi with truffle. For the mains, the elk and the barramundi were the standouts."

"Loved the food, but was very deceived by the prix fixe menu. It was $68 for the three course dinner and $88 "with the wine pairing". We thought the wine was included...until we received the bill. My group and I have collectively lived in some of the world's most sophisticated cities and we all have dined at fine restaurants, and yet no one caught on that the wine pairing was an ADDITIONAL $88. Is Montagna trying to trick their customers or are they just that out of touch? Restaurant also needs a major update to attract a more hip clientele. We were dining amongst aging socialites and stuffy retirees in Christmas sweaters. If you are under 60 and want a fine dining experience head to Cache Cache."

"Came here for breakfast and fell in love with their Montagne benedict. I am a huge benedict fan and this was the best I have ever had. Its a poached egg served on a brioche, with maple glazed bacon belly, a swish of applesauce, and hollandaise. YUMMY! Its a small portion which is my only complaint, but its so decadent thats probably a good thing. ;-) Also ordered the lemon souffle pancakes for the table... wow... this place was so good we came back on our last day in town for 2nds!"
