"Outstanding dinning experience! Staff was smiling, friendly and very informative. Wine list extensive and sommelier was fabulous. This was my second dining experience at Element 47 since they first opened. I can see thay have ironed out some minor issues. Keep it up, we look forward to enjoying the Lobster Appetiser again!"

"Early dinners beware, to enter the restaurant you must first run gauntlet and bottle neck of apre skiers. The waiting area is too hot and too loud. Does not make for a good first impression. Once seated the din from the bar area continues. Book after 7:45PM when the bar crowd has moved on.The food and services is good but the experience of having to go through the crush of bar patrons is off putting."

"Easily a cut above other Aspen restaurants. Food and service were first rate. Portions are small so plan on ordering an appetizer as well as an entree. Not an inexpensive place but not unreasonable considering the quality and creativity of the food. Try the fois gras and the sea bass. Those were our favorites."

"The remodel makes the room more intimate. Food was very good. We had the oysters (MA) -- excellent and the fluke (not great) for appetizers, duck (Skin not crispy) and steelhead (great) with side of cauliflower. Prices were Aspen high, and wines were very high (I guess they abandoned their policy of not more than 2X retail prices). We had a split if Oregon Pinot for $55. Their corkage policy is "no"
Outstanding service.
We were unhappy that they have Chilean Seabass on menu (under a different name, but still the same).
But it was still one of the best in Aspen, and we'll go back."

"One of the best restaurants in Aspen and on par with the great restaurants in the US. I would rank it equal to French Laundry (Napa) and Picasso (Las Vegas) in both food, wine and ambience. Very knowledgeable staff that help with menu selections"

"The room is beautiful and the service was great - knowledgable about everything - food and wine and really lovely. Food was delicious. The beet salad was a beautiful still life and delicious too. The main courses were also very good but a little on the small side. We had the lamb and the duck - and wanted a little more of each. Sorbets for dessert were great. We also appreciated the welcoming gougeres (YUM) and the finishing chocolates."
