"Went to Capital Grille, Beverly Center for Father's Day with the family. Made my reservation on Open Table. We were given the spacous Chef's Table booth, and the service was impeccable. We had the smaller of the two seafood platters with lobster claws, shrimp & oysters. Their cocktail sauce has just great! I am not a fan of horseradish, but there was just a hint in the sauce & it had the tiniest amount of kick, which I loved. Rest of the family shared steaks (big portions!), and I had the parmesean crusted sole which comes with a crab salad. The sole was the best I've ever tasted, with a crispy crust and you could tell the fish was really fresth.

We will definitely go back to celebrate another special occasion at Capital Grille."

"The food was fabulous. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. They even asked that we cut out steak when they brought it, to be sure it was cooked to our liking. The cocktails (esp. the stoli doli!) were "smashing". And Rob, our server, was top notch. Probably the best service I've ever had in a restaurant. He even marked our take-home boxes with contents and who in our party they belonged to."

"We reserved a table for 16 for my son's graduation and requested the patio for this event.
Our experience started with Free Valet parking, and only got better as we entered the fantastically decorated restaurant.
We were escorted to the upstairs patio where we were greeted and saw a fabulous open area with its own bar.
Our our waiter just added to the wonderful experience. They went out of their way to accomodate our needs. when food arrived plates had a great presentation.
I had the salmon, the best salmon I have ever had from the flavor of sauce to tenderness of the filet.
A few people had the rib eye sandwich. Eveyone enjoyed the food and experience. A liitle pricey for luch but worth it.
We will definetly go back."

"One of the perks of dining at Capital Grille is that you can a peaceful atmosphere in a busy environment. Although the Beverly Center area is quite bustling, anytime of the day or night, once you walk into Capital Grille, you forget about what's happening outside of these walls. If you want romance, sit downstairs, if you want a scenic view, sit upstairs. Wherever you choose to sit, you definitely will not be dissatisfied. Oh, at the food is delish too!"

"took a good friend here for his birthday and it was outstanding. I had been to the one in Seattle but I had never been to the LA one. The food was amazing, I had the steak and poached lobster and it was wonderful. The sides were also great and the desert was very good. Highly recommend!"

"Hostess was great, servers poor. Pours water to all 5 without moving by reaching over. Decanted the wine but never poured it. We did. The parmesan sole was flavorless and too lardy. Good valet though.

Go to Flemings or Landrys or Mastro's or Morton's. don't waste your money at the cap grille"

"Located on street level of Beverly Center, this restaurant is sophisticated and appropriate for business meetings or after shopping drink, lunch or dinner. It would also be a lovely for a special night out. I had the chopped salad with shrimp and my colleague had an amazing hamburger and fries. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Probably not great for families with small children."

"Although it is mainly a steakhouse, they also have wonderful seafood.
My husband had the sea bass. It was a very large piece of fish, and he said delicious.
Every thing we have had there is delicious.
This is about the 4th time we have gone there with our friends, and we are always satisfied."

"Food was mediocre at best and overly expensive for what it was. Service and atmosphere was good but did not make up for the meal. Ordered the chop salad which comes with shrimp but asked to substitute chicken. They charged $2 for the substitute!!"

"The food quality and taste was not what I expect from capital grill. I am a loyal capital grill lover around the country. But this was, by far, the worst food I've experienced at any of them. I am used to a delicious steak and lump crabmeat with the flier Oscar. Instead, I was served a tasteless piece of meat with a ton of salt and what shredded broiled crab, more like a crab came from red lobster. For these prices, I expect quality and taste. This is not what I was served."

"Compared to other fine restaurants, The Capital Grille does a littl too much obtaining confirmation on reservations. An e-mail reminder and confirmation was sent a few days before and a very early phone call was made to my cell phone on the actual day. Pan Rustic Onion Bread was very good, Service was very good, Mushrooms were also very good. Unfortunately, steak was not as hot (temperature wise), not as flavorful, tender and juicy compared to other steakhouses such as Fleming's, The Derby, Mastros and Ruth Chris'. And for this, I consider their prices a little high. This is why I rated this restaurant 3 stars."

"I'm so glad to try this place since their meats' qualities are excellent! Also I often drove by this restaurant but never been til this time.
I've actually been looking for a good steak house in this area for long time and finally found it!!
Our server was very polite but quick and other staffs were also kind.
Their wine collections are amazing.
I took my clients and everyone was satisfied ;))"

"As always, the servie was perfect and the food was delicious. Their staff is so well trained which makes for an enjoyable day or evening out. Have never had anything there that isn't perfectly prepared. Also great if you want to have a conversation with someone...you can actually hear each other. Conveniently located on the ground floor of the Beverly Center. On top of all of their great qualities....valet parking is free!!! You don't often find that in Los Angeles. Usually the restaurant is expensive and on top of that they charge you a fortune to park your car and the valets expect a tip on top of the high price. Hooray Capital Grille for providing this service."

"Move over, Morton's, Mastro's, and Fleming's.... there's a new Steakhouse in town and they're here to take over! My Gosh, never have I had such a pleasant dining experience! The food is outstanding - my mouth is watering at the thought of their prosciutto wrapped mozzarella appetizer, and the steaks... the steaks are amazing! No boring hunk of meat here. They have a variety of specialties, from a kona-rub with shallot butter to the filet oscar or the peppercorn crusted au poivre. Also, the cuts are beyond generous - the smallest is a 10 oz, the largest a 22 oz, I believe... The service is the absolute best I've ever experienced in LA, I left with the biggest smile on my face. Attention to detail beyond anyone's expectations. Must go!!!"

"It was our 1st time at this restaurant. When I made the reservations, I informed them that we had one birthday and one anniversery. When we arrived our table was decorated with rose peddles and a hand written card for each occasion. Our waiter welcomed us and explained all aspects of the menu. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! There was 4 in our party and each one selected something different from the menu, therefore we tasted each dish that we ordered (Salmon, Chicken, two kinds of steak). Each selection was superb!!! Can't wait to return."

"Set in a clubby steak house atmosphere, in the middle of LA on the ground floor of the newly remodeled Beverly Center, the Grille is an unexpected find. Our dinner was very, very, good. Our server was spectacular. In fact the entire wait staff could not have been better. There is an extensive wine list and a wide selection of prime steaks, chops and sides. We will definitely return!"

"The place was cozy and the staff was very polite and accommodating. Our waiter helped us with some of our selections which we were very happy with. The mussels in wine sauce special was wonderful. I had the kona-crusted sirloin and it was very flavorful and tender. My daughter had the Wagyu filet which was outstanding as it melted in her mouth. My wife and son both had the delmonico steak with the porcini rub; unfortunately their steaks were not cooked to their specifications and they were a bit disappointed. The medium-medium rare requests were just a level more done than expected. Overall, we had a great time and would like to come back to sample the rest of the menu. Hopefully, we will all get it right the next time."

"This place is top-notch, from service to food to ambiance while the wine list will satisfy any wine lover. Wines are from all over and price points are available. A winner, easy free-valet 10 yards from the entrance. The décor is classy and romantic but surely the food is a constant winner. Our waiter was the nicest but so was the whole staff. Need to go back more often."

"My steak was good, not the best that I have had at a high end steakhouse/ restaurant. They overcooked my Delmonico. Requested medium rare, got medium. They graciously replaced it with a properly cooked medium rare. Unfortuntaly the 2nd cut was not a good cut in my opinion. It was not "well marbled". It was just plain fatty.

The bar staff, hosting staff and our server Charles, and the entire staff was fantastic. It was a wonderful evening overall despite my steak."

"entrance to the restaurant is beautiful in the new york tradition. dark, rich in wood and paintings beautifully framed and hung. tables are well spaced and comfortable. service is attentive. i ordered a "surf and turf", so to speak. it was a sirloin topped with pieces of lobster tail. it was good, but nothing spectacular. oysters on the half shell were small. macaroni and lobster was very good, and something i would recommend. the delmonico steak, super charred, was also very good. this was the first time at this restaurant and i like to order a gin martini when i visit a restaurant for the first time. it is usually an indication to me as to how the evening will progress. the martini was very good. i will go back."

"Probably the best service of my life. I've been to Providence, SAAM at The Bazaar, Osteria Mozza, and other Michelin-star-rated restaurants, and never have I been taken care of so well. The waiter was friendly and funny, and they made every accommodation to make the experience special for a family member's birthday. Amazing."

"I love the capital grill
For the first time I found it noisy and that was not great
But the food is always consistent
We were 7 and were sat in a corner so maybe to noise was

"Great restaurant. I love going. Went for Valentine's Day but was stuck in the backroom of the restaurant with only 3 other parties of 2 each. It was very weird being in such a small room on a romantic night with 3 other couples right around us. Made talking in a normal voice seem abnormal. All in all, the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Soli Doli, best drink I've ever had. I ordered two ;-)"
