"We went there for mother's day and they were over booked so they put us in the wine room. It was such an amazing atmosphere dining with walls and walls of wines surrounding us. The food was delicious, love the truffle ham. Service was great. Very pleasant experience."

"The ambiance is good - warm at night and airy during the day. The decor is like a Tuscan Villa and the patio overlooks the street. The service is good but Claudia serving lunch is wonderful!! The food is a taste sensation and the entire affair makes for a relaxed and enjoyable experience."

"Having formerly worked for the Top Table group of restaurants I was trained and proud to give exceptional service and food. Unfortunately our dinner at CinCin didn't measure up to the high standards I've come to expect at a Top Table restaurant.
A sign of a good restaurant is how they handle a complaint. When the desserts we ordered were not to our liking the server was dismissive and indifferent and failed to notify the manager. Nor did he offer alternatives or remove the desserts from the bill. This is not how a Top Table restaurant would handle a complaint and our friends who also received similar treatment in a past visit said they would not return to CinCin again.
Sad to see CinCin slipping in their service standards:("

"I had an extreme date last weekend and surprised her with a quick trip to Vancouver. That aside while planning my travel agent recommended cincin which I booked through open table(thanks for the service by the way;).
had a professional waiter (Larry) whom was all you'd want and very knowledgeable. Which I appreciate always. I typically make the waiter/ress pick my wine and meal and a seared scallop served on a bed of risotto and parmesan was the decision. Which isn't on open tables menu nor their website?? Otherwise I would have been able to remember more:(
Regardless, it was one of the best surprises I've had of late and I'd be back in a heart beat.$100 for two with a half bottle of wine.
An excellent choice for a foodie;)"

"Last minute impulsive lunch reservation...best decision ever! Impeccable service from the very friendly and knowledgeable Claudia, and the rest of the "team". Tuna tartar was perfect, as was the wine I paired with it (Sperling Vineyards Reserve Pinos Gris)....which was also equally pleasing with the grigliata mista (scallop, prawn, arctic char and sable fish) and the rosemary and anchovy dressing on the accompanying greens was genius! Will definitely return on my next trip to Vancouver!"

The pork belly special was fabulous; my arteries are still in recovery 3 days later. My wife enjoyed her duck breast as well. The wine, a BC cabernet from Painted Rock (not Painted Turtle!) was lovely... at $86 plus 10% liquor tax.

"My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at CinCin. We were greeted by a Happy Anniversary as soon as we walked in, and had a card stating the same delivered to our table. We both ordered the halibut, which was very flaky and done to perfection. Our server was attentive, and asked if we had any timetable to meet. We did, as we were also attending a VSO performance later that evening. The wine we enjoyed was a Pinot from the Dundee Hills area in Oregon, and was excellent. We shared dessert, and were presented with Happy Anniversary written along the plate rim in chocolate. A great meal to commemorate a very special evening. We will be back."

"My family spent a night in Vancouver on our way back from Whistler. This is a definite stop while in town. It's located on Robson Street which seems to be a local hot spot in the area of downtown. I would highly recommend if you have the time. I had the lamb, was probably one of the best dishes I've ever eaten."

"Our experience with Cin Cin was fantastic right from the start. My fiance had popped in during the day just to try and take a look at the room. They were closed at the time but the manager took her for a tour of the restaurant and made some table suggestions for our small group. The night of our dinner the table was arranged as promised and everything else continued to be perfect. Our server, unfortunately I cannot recall her name, was phenomenal. She knew the food and ingredients flawlessly and provided the service you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. She knew when to be present and also when to allow us to breathe. The sommelier was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. The food was delicious and presented beautifully."

"Food was good but was a bit pricey. The ambience was exceptional as well as the service. I have dined in all of this group's restaurants and all of them were great, this would be my least favourite just because i think the entrees are overpriced but then again this is right in the heart of Vancouver Downtown so its a tourist's place."

"Please do not bring children here. This is clearly an adult restaurant and absolutely nothing is set up for them. Only a very patient, older child will be able to tolerate the pace, which is excellent--for adults. The service is, in fact, the best part about CinCin. Given the group they belong to, one would expect good food, and it is very good, but the perfection of the service--neither too absent nor too intrusive, attentive without being "HIIIIIIIII, I'm *AMANDA* and I'm your SERVER~!" And thoughtful touches formed on a base of observation (for example, one of our party was having a birthday which was figured out by the server without being informed, and the dessert was served with an acknowledgement of that--without it being too much."

"Celebrated my birthday lunch there and could not have had a more wonderful meal! Over the top, but equally refined, in both flavor and presentation. Our server offered additional starter items which typically only on dinner menu for a guest request and was very knowledgeable on the food prep, etc. Kudos on the service as well. "We had the most enjoyable time at Cin Cin. It was recommended to us by a friend, and I easily made a reservation online, to celebrate my husband's birthday. There is a space for noting any special occasion, which I did, and we were greeted at the door with a "happy birthday", then a card from the chef. The food was sublime- the flavors all worked so well together- none overwhelmed the other- and the dessert was just a dream. Our waiter, Jamie, was attentive, kind, funny and knew how the entrees were made. Overall, we would definitely go to Cin Cin again. Additionally, Jamie recommended another of the restaurants under the umbrella- Thierry. It was equally tasty, and very European."

"I was here for Valentine's Day dinner with my girlfriend and it was THE BEST dining experience ever!!

"Second time at CinCin. Great gnocci & black truffle starter! We had the duck and short rib as mains, the short rib was outstanding the duck had great flavor but the fat had not been properly rendered. Disappointing at $37 regardless we we will be back as we enjoyed everything else and the service was great. Note that the tapenade they serve to every table is exceptional!"
