"I've been to this restaurant on several occasions and recommended it to friends staying at a nearby hotel. We had reservations for 6:30 pm. We arrived and were put at a table where there was lots of traffic. We asked if a booth was available and they said in about 5 minutes, so we waited. We were put at the empty booth across from our original table and even the waiter apologized for the traffic and the proximity to the entrance. I recommended the flatbread and it came overcooked and dry. The cedar plank salmon was good, but the vegetables were really dried out and tasted like cardboard. The desserts were good except the cannoli dessert was very bland. I usually love this restaurant - so let's hope it was just an off night."

"From entering the door until we left this was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Our reservation was honored when we arrived, even thought we were 15 minutes early. The menur, while not real large, had good choices and excellent food. Service was also excellent, attentive, but not pushy. Desserts are wonderful. Great wine list by the bottle and glass. We a a very wonderful time at Seasons 52."

"Once again I returned to Seasons 52 when I was in the area. I wasn't disappointed. The service and waiter were, as always, superb. The Copper River Salmon on the Spring Menu was fabulous. The freshness of the food, the presentation and the flavor are excellent. Difficult to go wrong and the ambiance is great. Sitting outside after sunset with the palm trees lighted is quite a sight. Very relaxing."

"This was my second visit to your restaurant and both times totally loved the food and service. i would and will recommend you to my friends and family. The only drawback was one of your guests had a crying baby who dented the ambiance a little for me. I don't really think babies should be encouraged to come. This one was unhappy for pretty much the whole time we were there. Other than that our experience was wonderful. Service fantastic! Cudos to the chef and the owners..."

"I have been here several times and have REALLY enjoyed the food. The service is usually exceptional....but this time the waiter was a little less knowledgable about their menu than I was! BUT, he did fess up to it and was very appologetic! He even gave us desserts on the house, so I guess it is a wash...he was trying!"

"Service was off......we waited almost 10-15 minutes after being seated for anyone to come take a drink order. Very noisy room. When we first arrived, we were the only other table across the room from a very loud group, specifically a couple sounded like they were shouting to each other .... They were so loud. ( table of 7 or 8 ).

"Each friend I've introduced to Seasons has loved the healthy delicious food and good ambiance. This is how food should be made everywhere: lots of flavor without the overload of calories. "My friend and I had lunch at Seasons 52 in Costa Mesa again and it was delightful. The service was excellent and attentive but not cloying. Our order was taken and food was served in a reasonable time frame. We love the barbecue chicken salad though we found its recipe had changed since our last visit. Nothing to die over but we were a bit disappointed. The server explained that the chicken had been put on skewers to accelerate the service speed during a busy lunch hour. Okay, we got that.
The desserts were tempting and we both caved.
The bill was reasonable and though we lingered over lunch for about 1.5 hours, they never rushed us out.
All in all another lovely experience."

"This restaurant is lovely. The service was excellent., attentive and non-intrusive. I will definitively return to sample more dishes as the seasons change.

"Seasons 52 is one of my favorite restaurants that I frequent regularly. Being health conscious, I love their lower calorie, healthful approach to restaurant dining. My favorite dish is the vegetarian tasting platter, which is like a mini-buffet on one plate, which includes a citrus quinoa salad, a taco, a stuffed chile, grilled tofu, and other vegetables, depending on the season. I love that they will always accommodate any changes or substitutions. For instance, yesterday I asked for sautéed spinach rather than the snap peas.
Don't miss out on the flatbread wine tasting special every day before 6:00 -- what a bargain -- and fun to try the different wines.

"I've never had a bad meal here, but I've never had an exceptional one either. It's just not that kind of place. I prefer going here for lunch, so this was my first dinner at Seasons 52. Service is always friendly and begins with the question whether you've eaten here before; if not, they have to explain their whole gimmick of limited calorie portions and fresh, seasonal ingredients. (The shotglass-sized desserts are always a treat.) But I've found it very typical that my waiter disappears for long periods of time before finally checking back with me to take my order or to see if everything's to my satisfaction. At least food is delivered promptly to the table from the kitchen by any server available, which is a system that works well."

"This was the first time I had come to this restaurant. It's super close to my home and I've always wanted to try it. It was absolutley fabulous! All the food is 475 calories or less and who would believe that a chicken pesto flatbread was less than that? The strawberry infused vodka is a perfectly refreshing in their martinis and the piano player at the bar is fantastic. Anybody who loves a good ambiance, good food and great music will love this place. And, it was not as highly priced as I thought it would be!"

"Traveling for work usually means heavy meals. Fortunately, a friend recommended that we try Seasons 52 - noting their seasonable menu and never-disappointing food. I was skeptical when I heard that everything was under 475 calories. Even though I make light meals at home, I imagined eating out with those restrictions would mean tiny portions. I was wrong. My dinner was filling, satisfying, and delicious all-around. I couldn't have been more pleased!"

"We had a wonderful time at Seasons 52! We sat in the lounge area where there was live music by a singer/piano player. We really enjoyed the atmosphere plus the food was very tasty and healthy!! We can't wait to go back!!! :)"

"Took a client to lunch here. Great innovative, healthy menu with a large variety of choices starting at moderate prices up to expensive a la carte entrees. Fun small desserts. Ladies will especially appreciate the calorie conscious menu. Upscale environment. Easy parking and access at South Coast Plaza with it's own entrance from the parking lot. Valet parking also available."

"Love Seasons 52. Alison was constantly on top of things. She was so friendly and courteous.The scallops were cooked perfectly, the trout dinner was delicious, the shrimp & crab stuffed mushrooms were the perfect combination and I'm not particularly a mushroom fan. Finally, the mini indulgences were awesome. Just the right amount after dinner, but who can stop at just 1? The red velvet and machiatto mini's were the best! I love sitting on the patio with the fountain and fireplace. Only draw back is all the cars driving past coming into the mall. Unfortunately, the restaurant sits on the entrance path into SCP. But nevertheless, I will definitely be back!"

"The lamb gyro flatbread was fabulous! But I should have tried the curried halibut, which my server highly recommended. I was disappointed with the prawns and penne pasta. Everything else was up to the standards I've come to expect of this, one of my favorite restaurants--especially the dessert shots!"

"We Loved the roasted tomato soup! The fact that they had three menus, regular, vegetarian and vegan was excellent. They know how to cook vegetables properly. It just shows that restaurants can serve vegan food with flair and aplomb. We would highly recommend this eatery to our friends and acquaintances. The prices were reasonable and appropriate."

"We have made my birthday celebration an annual tradition at Seasons 52 and so far we have not been disappointed! My friends and I always enjoy a fabulous drink - I recommend the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan - and the specials are always great. Be sure to order an appetizer. The Flatbreads are tasty but my heart is with Lump crab, shrimp and spinach stuffed mushrooms. Finally, don't skip dessert! We went on May 20th and our server was Anne, she was super sweet and very helpful."

"This was my 4 time at Season 52 in Costa Mesa. We only go there for special occasions. Typically for dinner but this time it was for lunch. Seasons 52 has AWESOME food but HORRIBLE service. I think they get their servers from Denny's or a Coffee Shop. They are not there to make their customers feel comfortable and happy to be spending $ at their restaurant. So go and enjoy the food but remember not to expect too much from your server."

"Something on this menu to appeal to every palate and you can order three courses and still not worry about gaining a pound. The flatbreads are memorable and the goat cheese ravioli is to die for. And no matter what, you must save room for one of their mouth watering desserts. The menu changes every quarter so you are met with new surprises every season. The service is surperb. Highly recommended for celebrations and group dining."

"I love everything about this restaurant! From the ease of the complimentary valet parking to the perfectly portioned dessert bites! It's a 5 star place to me except for the noise level. We have been there twice for dinner. Both times were extremely noisy and it was difficult to hear one another. If you are looking for spectacular food and service, this is one of my favorites. I would not recommend it for a quiet romantic dinner. We are going again next month and bringing more new people with us!"
