"Yorkville is a desert for foodies and this is one of the better alternatives. It was very crowded during a stormy Saturday night - may be good sign. The service suffered a bit as it seemed that they were short staffed. Overall what we ordered was good, but not great. Regardless, our guests were happy with their choices. They plan to return."

"My wife and I had a wonderful time at Cavatappo Grill on a recent Thursday night. We had a special Buffalo Mozzarella/Tomato salad and fried calamari, both of which were very good. For entrees we had a Tagliatelle Bolognese that was good, but the star of the evening (and just an incredible dish) was the Spinach Pappardelle with Duck Ragu. One of my all-time favorite pasta dishes, and highly recommended. Service was very friendly and relaxed, with the only complaint being that we had to wait a bit to get our check, but the waiter's friendliness more than made up for it. Overall a very good neighborhood spot, with reasonable prices and good portions. Especially nice that they do many wines by the glass and have half-portions for pastas."

"Nice, cute, cozy place. Good food, affordable and good wine list. Lively place, but not crazy. Probably great in the summer when the wall opens to the sidewalk. Beet salad w/ goat cheese was great. I had the rigatoni w/ eggplant and shredded ricotta, yum. They were accommodating, my boyfriend wanted a pasta w/ prosciutto cream sauce but didn't want the veal ravioli that it came with...they let him pick any other pasta to have it with. Homemade desserts! We got a bottle of wine, salads, entrees and dessert...the bill came to about $100. We will definitely go back!"

"Excellent food, and competent, friendly service. Small dining room can get a bit crowded, but we were perfectly happy with our table. Noisy at times, but not unbearable. Everyone working there was lovely toward us. The food was superb."

"We were a large group that can get a bit rambunctious at times. The reservation was early, so we did not bother other diners. The food and service were excellent. They allow sharing. Fairly priced. This is the second time this group has eaten here and all are glad to go again."

"Same warmth as by its previous name - same owner too and many of the same menu items. A reliable, friendly low key place."
