La Barataria is an upscale, casually elegant restaurant and bar, beautifully situated on Mustang Island in Island Moorings Yacht Club and Marina. This Gulf Coast paradise is surrounded by water, yachts and palm trees. Balmy ocean breezes enhance the tranquil setting of this island paradise.
Relax on the upper deck with a view of it all or kick back pool-side with a cocktail made with fresh fruit juices or a glass of vino from our selection of boutique wines.
Secluded yet easily accessible, La Barataria is right off of State Highway 361, across the street from Newport Dunes and Golf, an Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, and walking distance from Mustang Island Municipal Airport, but we'll pick you up!
Moor your boat at one of the most protected marinas on the Gulf Coast, walk up to the restaurant / bar and find yourself in paradise. You will look no further.

"We had a fabulous brunch. The menu items for brunch are very unique. The Dutch pancakes are wonderful. The servings are ample along with great presentations. They have a small staff which were attentive. The kitchen is tiny so if your in a hurry you will probably need to go somewhere else. Take your time to enjoy your meal and the views."
