"We recently had Rhett's cater for a party. The neighbors loved the food. A few hadn't been to the restaurant. We took 2 other couples out with us. The weather was perfect, we sat outside. Enjoyed live music. Rhett came over a few times to check in on us. And the food is wonderful. The menu is with local grown products. I list the "tastes" menu so you can try a few more items, like small plates. And although it is summer, still enjoy the lobster bisque. Bon Appetit!"

"Absolutely loved it, we have lived in the area for 4 yrs and it was our 1st visit. That was a huge mistake. The food is wonderful and how they focus on local NC produce and beers was very well received. The menu is not overwhelming and portions are ample. Chef Rhett goes out of his way to stop by and engage with all the tables. Can't say enough.....if you are in the area, make reservations and enjoy. Next time we will make sure to reserve outdoor seating to enjoy the local music in the pavilion."

"We sat outside in a weather perfect evening surrounded by great music (Tim Wilson). The food was wonderful, fresh and healthy . The service impeccable. A great way to celebrate a birthday ! Thank you Rhett....always enjoy your restaurant."

"If you want local Carolina fare, Rhett's is the place to go. All three meals at our table were outstanding, but my shrimp and grits specialty was just out of this world. What a gem of a meal! Funky and fun little wine list. And Rhett himself stops by to chat about his food. Just a wonderful time and highly recommended."

"Wonderful outdoor dining in their courtyard. Rhett stopped by the table personally multiple times to check on our group of 8. He truly takes the guest experience personally and it shows in the food and service. Try the southern chicken cordon blue or Rhett's take on shrimp and grits. The sides are also awesome. Locally sourced and fresh. We'll be back!"

"Everything was very nice however, we found that the food was not as flavorful as we thought it might be for gourmet southern cooking. The presentation and quality was excellent. The outdoor dining and courtyard looked very charming and if we return, we definately would want to sit there. Overall it was a nice experience."

"My first time at Rhett's (after having sampled their appetizers at a private function the evening )but won't be my last. Upscale Southern cuisine with very interesting menu. I had the Hoe Cakes and swordfish special which were both excellent. I can also attest to the scallop appetizer and really had a hard time deciding on an entree. The wine list isn't large but had something for every taste and budget. They had live music in the courtyard which was very nice and soft enough not to be intrusive. Great experience overall."
