"The filet mignon was the best I've ever had. My husband had the salmon, and he said it was wonderful. We both loved the Onion Soup. The service was terrific. The atmosphere was great. Since 5ive is in the St. John's hotel, and there is also a golf course there, you get a wonderful blend of people. We look forward to going back soon."

Review 2 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"Although meal was presented well and ambiance was what we expected - nice but not stuffy; the food did not live up to our expectations of find dining. There were four of us at the table and all agree food was okay. But, for the price and description, we expected more flavor.
My overall comment about restaurant and competition - Five needs more flavor - presentation and creation are great but you need to step it up in flavor. One restaurant in the area who understands this is Sardine Room.
We will give them another try. It is too bad they did not bring out the best considering how many new quests were in attendance. Including our friends who we ran into there and who had a similar reaction to restaurant."

Review 4 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"Wonderful food, service, and an extensive wine list. Mixed drinks not their specialty (I ordered a sour apple martini) but the staff go out of their way to accomodate you. The grounds are beautiful and the interior took me by surprise at the warmth and spaciousness. Very inviting! Comfortable seating. Free birthday dessert for lunch was unexpected and DELICIOUS! Pears and chocolate DO go well together!"

Review 5 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"Good option if you're in the area, although overpriced for the product. The menu is not very creative or memorable. If you're staying at the Inn or playing a round this is a good option- but don't go out of your way to come here. Service was good and carried the food."

Review 6 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"Our food was excellent - hot, creatively presented and delicious. The service was also excellent - promptly bringing our dishes out while they were still piping hot. The banana blondie was an outstanding dessert."

Review 9 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"To begin with I thought I had a reservation at the Buffet in the Atrium. Yes I called and made the reservation at The Five Restaurant, but your web site did not indicate which phone number to call for the Easter buffet vs. the Easter Brunch. In fact your web site is your weakest link. Not clear on the two services being separate and requiring separate reservations. Your website needs to clearly separate the Buffet from the Brunch. I use the words interchangeably. The situation was handled with professionalism and we decided to stay at the Brunch. The food is very diverse and interesting, well prepared, and presented elegantly. Service staff is extremely nice."

Review 12 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"What a disappointment! The appetizers were mediocre at best. My short ribs were not edible. I was at least the second diner that night to send the same dish back.
The kitchen staff was, however, quite accomodating with my dietary restrictions. My second meal (a different entree)was prepared quite nicely and was completely dairy free.
I understand why the dining room was virtually empty.
The wait staff was friendly and charming and tried to make the best out of a poor dining experience.
I do appreciate the bartender hand-stuffing anchovy olives for my cocktail.
While the service was great, it did not make up for the food."

Review 13 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"We were disappointed by the atmosphere. We expected a more intimate setting and were surprised to be sitting in a brightly lighted room very close to other tables. Two top tables were very crowded and we kept moving things around to make room for the meal to fit.
Food was just okay. My steak was very fatty and hers wasnt cooked correctly. Quality of the meat was not anywhere it needed to be for the price. Price was high for what you got.
Our waiter was very attentive but not interruptive.
We both would not recommend."

"It was a wonderful dining experience but a little overpriced. We will not return as there are other places nearby which offer a similar menu/service but more reasonably priced"

Review 15 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"The menu was nice, veered toward foodie level and was reasonably priced. The scallops were excellent and the house salad was delicious. Two diners got the filet mignon - one was cooked beautifully, the other a little dry ad overcooked both ordered medium rare. The potato dish that came with the filet would have been better if it had not been coated and deep fried. Overall this restaurant was a pleasant surprise and we would go back again."

Review 16 for 5ive / Five Restaurant at The Inn At St. Johns
"Went to 5ive for a fixed price, Valentine's day dinner for two. On the plus side: the food was good, not great. On the negative side, the ambiance is VERY poor for what we thought would be a fine restaurant. For what should have been a special event: (1) lights were on very high for the entire time we dined at 5ive, (2) there were no tablecloths on what appeared to be inexpensive, laminated tabletops, and (3) the restaurant added a 20% gratuity to the bill without prior warning. I don't mind paying top dollar for a great dinner and service, we but got neither. We won't return."
