The elegant open design of Noble's Grille was inspired by the restaurants of Napa Valley, where Chef Noble was first inspired to follow his dream and become a gourmet. "Always wonderful. Beef dishes cooked perfectly. Oyster salad is signature. First time I have done the four vegetables....terrific. Our only issue is that for some reason after our salads were served the kitchen slowed significantly....other than a wonderfully memorable meal."

"Once again, our dinner was great at Noble's. John, the chef, is really creating great dishes with local ingredients that are currently in season. I had braised lamb with French lentils that was superb. Loved the little bit of feta mousse that just added that extra richness. The salmon with Carolina Gold rice and preserved lemons was lovely. And the s'mores dessert - great! Lastly, but never least, the service (this time Patrick took extra care of us) is really a model of what great service should be. Thanks for a great mother's day dinner!"

"My wife and I were served very well and enjoyed the outstanding cast-iron filet! I was very impressed at how perfectly cooked it was to medium rare. It was a work of art really. It's a must if you go to Noble's! Just be warned that the priciness is the only downside."

"Given the clientele catered to, Noble's Grille was a big disappointment. Other than the salad and the wine, which were excellent, the rest of the meal was fair to good. The food presentation was poor. If that wasn't enough, the service was miserable. We felt abandoned and we waited for almost an hour from the salad for the entre to arrive. We won't be back."

"Food is always great with a good atmosphere. The owner is usually on-site and takes care of his patrons. We had a very poor experience with a server on our last visit, but the owner did his best to correct a bad situation. That's all you can ask when something does go wrong."

"We frequent Noble's several times a month. This time I was extremely disappointed with the quality of food. Our guest ordered the chicken and the presentation was poor. The chicken was just put on a plate. Our guest commented that the chicken had no taste. We ended up taking it home for our dog. I had the shrimp and grits my favorite at Noble's but they were not good. I cannot explain the taste. The appetizer and dessert were good! We enjoyed the background music."

"We have dined at Noble's many times, with very good results. The food and service have both been excellent. However, we did not have a good experience Saturday night. We arrived at our scheduled time, 7 p.m., but were not finished with a simple three course dinner until 10:15 p.m. Due to misunderstandings our server brought out the appetizers in three separate courses. She seemed to disappear for long periods, such that we had significant trouble obtaining drink refills, and sat without having dishes cleared from the table for long periods. Even the entrees were not as tasty as usual. Two in our dining party ordered the flounder and it was overdone. I hope this is an anomaly from our typical experience at Noble's!"

"Food was very good as usual. The restaurant was packed without enough wait staff. For a restaurant of this caliber I'm surprised that the service isn't better. The management should go to Ryan's and take notes. Also of interest was the lack of the managers participation in what was going on. He never ask us how things were going and I did not see him going to any of the other tables ( because of our long wait I had plenty of time to observe). Management may be stale with a upgrade needed."

"We have been to Nobles many times and have always enjoyed it. But this last time we went, the wait staff kept forgetting things, the food took a long time, and the hanger steaks were not that good. I understand every restaurant can have an off night, but for the price you pay at this restaurant, we were disappointed compared to our previous visits there."

"The service was excellent, the waiter was attentive but not overbearing. The food was just OK and probably should have been better for the price. The crab soup was no good but our waiter promptly replaced with another item and soup was comped. Had the steak and it was well cooked and had good flavor; my wife had the lobster and it should have been more for the price. Dessert was outstanding and a good selection of after dinner drinks. Didn't like sitting so close to the kitchen."

"We were celebrating with friends and the atmosphere, service and food were terrific. Regarding noise, we were probably noisy! The long table (12 in our group) did not allow us to talk with everyone. Would have been nice to have a large round table that would accommodate that size of group. Or, some arrangement where we could interact with more people at the table."

"Our dinner was an engagement anniversary celebration, reliving a grand moment from last year. Just like that first meal, this one delivered a fantastic experience. The chef crafted a delightful and delicious menu which was executed to near perfection. From in-house made charcuterie, to beef tartare, to duck three ways, and ending with a semi-savory dessert, there wasn't a false step to be found. This restaurant has been one of our favorites for a couple of years now, and our meal this particular night only further burnished their reputation while underscoring how marvelous their executive chef continues to be."

"Our small group (seven) was seated at "Table 1" near the kitchen which made it slightly noisier and busier, but it was fun to see the comings and goings and we were treated very well. The "duck fingers" amuse bouche was a delightful surprise and the entrees (salmon, lamb, duck, and trigger fish) were all excellent. Wine selections were thoroughly enjoyed and the bread pudding was wonderful."
