"We went with 2 other couples and sat at the grill. We called to let them know we were about 5 minutes late on a Saturday night, they addressed me by my name and said no problem. When we got there they didn't have my name in the computer, weird, but seated right away. Had great corner seating around the grill and a fun cook. The food was REALLY good. This experience was much better than the other Hibachi grill."

"We were hoping with Benihanna being the only real competition that their prices would be lower. Back East these restaurants were plentiful but you didn't have to save for special occasion only. For a family of five, even with the kids menu...it was pricey!! Chefs were mostly American, not what we expected, but food was good. Benihanna gives you a $30 gift certificate for your birthday, so guess we will have to stick with them! I think lowering their prices would bring them 10 times the biz!"

"Be aware that if you are going to Mt. Fuji for the food, the habici was not very good. It wasn't like we couldn't eat the food, however it was fair at best. Lack of seasonoing (except garlic) and food all came out one item at a time. First you get rice. wait 5 minutes. then the vegetables are ready. wait 5 minutes. then the meat is ready .....etc. Usually I expect items to be served together. We still had fun, but the food was not good."

"I took some clients and business associates to mt fugi two nights ago. We had a conference at the nearby and nice Weston hotel. I had hoped Mt Fuji would offer a higher end experience than any of the other offerings in the area.
The minute we walked in I regretted our decision. Although I had reservations we still waited 15 minutes. Decor looks a bit worn and very little ambience. The hibachi dinner did add some nice entertainment and distraction. Service was friendly, but rushed and inconsistent.
Food wasn't good on my opinion. Sushi was below average. I'll never take a client again to this place. My mistake for thinking mt Fuji was a higher end restaurant. Typical restaurant in the area and built for the masses & not quali"

"One of the best values I've had during Denver Restaurant Week. The sashimi was amazing - nice big cuts of fish! We got soup AND salad (actually a good miso soup, and I don't usually like that), an appetizer sampler, and then a BOAT of sushi, sashimi, & rolls! Excellent presentation with citrus garnishes. "We went to celebrate a birthday. Our service was absolutely AWFUL. The food was just average. You'll have a wait, even with a reservation, until your whole party arrives. Our chef was okay, but really didn't put on a show. Our server was terrible. We had to ask her 4 times for our complete drink order. Plus we asked 2 other people for the drink order. It finally arrived 1/2 way through the meal .When the chef came out, we were missing a meal. He had to go get the server to explain the ticket. Our server didn't clear the dishes from the table. She brought out cake out before everyone had finished their dinner. It was rushed, disorganized and it was just NOT a pleasant experience."

"Tried the sushi menu for 5280 and the course breakdown is as follows:
First: appetizer - came AFTER our third course, tasted like frozen food deep fried
Second: salad & soup - also came after the third course! Salad was literally frozen an unedible, too bad because the dressing was good. Miso soup is hard to ruin.
Third: sushi - very large amount and huge pieces. The presentation was OK, taste and freshness were lacking, no creativity in rolls
Fourth: moshi - OK
Fifth: wine and beer - by far the best part!
Second: salad & soup - also came after the third course! Salad was literally frozen an unedible, too bad because the dressing was good. Miso soup is hard to ruin.

"We had a reservation at 7pm but didn't get sat until 7:30pm. At one point we thought we heard our name, we asked the girl at the front desk and she says "I dont know" and walked away! Once at the table it still took 20 minutes before someone came to get our drink order. Sushi wasn't good but the Habatchi was great. They don't seem to know how to handle a busy night so I probably wouldn't go back."

"The food was awesome, as was the cook. The problem here was the checking in. There were 3-4 girls at the counter that seemed like they didnt know what was going on. There was a line to check in (though we had reservations). I stood at the counter for 5 minutes twice before they even looked at me to ask what I needed. They had 2 lists. The reservations from Open Table, and the walk ins. We got there at 730 for our 8pm reservation. We were finally sat at 830, after all of the walk ins that came in before and after us had been sat! We noticed that they were sitting the walk ins quicker, so I asked if we could put our name on that list, and they told us no!"

Felt like the reservations were put behind all the walk ins for 5280 week. I would recommend not seating walk ins when there were SOOOO many reservations that were waiting to be sat. "My wife and I ate there for Valentine's Day. We didn't realize that by reserving a "table" it meant we would be seated at a Hibachi grill with seven other people (three couples and a 10-year old), which I heard about after dinner (I thought it was fine because we were able to interact with others but what does a husband of 33+ years know?). It was a bit hectic because of the occasion but overall we were satisfied with the meal. The waitress could have been a little faster with the drink service but that could have been slowed by the number of people at the restaurant. My wife had sushi and said it was very good. I have the Filet Mignon and it was excellent."
