Bodean Seafood Restaurant & Market is centrally located in Tulsa. Bodean opened in 1968 as a small, family-owned fish market, and was the first from all over the world using daily air shipments. Over the years, Bodean developed a fine-dining restaurant with an award-winning menu and wine list. After enjoying the same location for 40 years, Bodean recently moved to a new location offering a unique and cozy decor that is the work of local talents. "The Atlantic Salmon was excellent. It was very tender and had a good taste. It is the sides that come with the entree that could be improved on. Something with the name of cheddar in it that appears it was scooped with a ice cream scooper. Reminded me a cheddar flavored rice. It's ok. I would see if I could buy the salmon by itself and see what other sides are available next time."

"Not being from the area, my family and I tried Bodeans based on reviews from opentable, and we are sure glad we did! The food was just exquisite, fresh, savory, and full of flavor. That was then topped by their first class service. This is a special place, where we felt at home, a thousand miles away, and when we return to Tulsa, it will be straight to Bodeans."

"The calimari on cabbage was tasty though they were very small. Fantastic halibut--fresh and perfectly cooked. Glad I asked for the sauce on the side as it was somewhat dull. The steak topped with crab and cheese sauce was excellent as well, but the sauce was not needed. Service was excellent--very nice wine selections. Very relaxing decor."

"Bodean's has never disappointed us. They knew it was our 54th Anniversary and everyone wished us well.The food was excellent and Jimmy, our server was great. I wouldn't miss eating at Bodeans. The Bluepoint Oysters were very fresh.The large scallops and Atlantic Char were enhanced by a spicy sauce.We could go on and on about everything. The atmosphere,the music,servers,the comfy banquette are some of the high points. Needless to say, but I will,that we will be back for our Anniversary next year if not sooner. We love to visit Tulsa and our first stop is Bodean Seafood."

"This was our first trip to Bodeans. I didn't particularly like the meal I got. There was nothing wrong with it - just a matter of personal taste I think. We will definitely go back, and I'll try something different next time. It's a nice restaurant."

"I would have given it higher marks, but my husbands food was iffy. He ordered the steak, yes, this is a seafood restaurant so steak probably wouldn't be their specialty, however they were proud of it according to their price. We could have gotten a better steak at Village Inn. It was a Ribeye which is our favorite, more than 1/2 was fat, & it was RAW. We asked for medium rare. It appeared each side of the steak was on the grill only long enough to sear the meat. We never send food back, too many horror stories, so we just took it home, recooked it & ate it the next day. The Creme Brulee was wonderful, as was the duck. The service was also left wanting, I had to ask for everything, nothing was offered. Water, dessert, bread, soup..."

"Superior food, superior service! I could quibble about a few details, but overall hubby and I had an excellent experience at Bodean's. We're not wealthy by any means, but every once in a while we enjoy a high-end meal at a nice restaurant. This one was worth every penny (and every calorie)."

"My fiance and I visited Tulsa the weekend of 2/22/13. The atmosphere of the dining room was great. The noise level was low and the furnishings and decor was beautiful. Multiple staff came by our table to arrange our table and drop off water. Our server Jimmy was attentive but not overbearing, which is how we prefer it. We ordered the Crab Cake and the Mussels for appetizers. I was not crazy about the crab cakes but the Mussels were AMAZING. The bread was amazing as well. For dinner my fiance ordered the Fisherman’s Stew and I had the Swordfish. Both were excellent. We will return to Bodean's the next time we are visiting Tulsa."

"Very disappointed in this visit. I booked reservations for a booth and we were seated in the conference room in back with closed doors and a waitress that obviously didn't want to be there. The Grouper and Fisherman stew were great. My friend had a very fatty prime rib. Not the usual Bodien's. I'd rather be told they are full than be seated in a conference room with no atmosphere."
