"I had a chance to slip over to wine country for lunch with my girl. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the great air. Lunch was great and we left full. Wine country is the standard for outdoor lunch on Line Avenue."

"On certain lucky days I stray into Wine Country and they have fresh oysters as the special. I had an excellent fried oyster salad and chased it with the shrimp and grits. Perfect lunch. Richard was our server and he's always solid. Thanks for the great meal Wine Country."

"Resturant was a bit loud for a "romantic" evening. The high noise level of the bar was a bit much for the rest of the resturaunt. This was my wife and I's first visit and we were not overly impressed with the atmosphere. We will give it a second chance before making a final decision."

"I took my wife to Wine Country for Valentine's Day lunch. I had three specific requests of the restaurant that required pre-planning and attention to detail on their part. The wait staff got it all perfect and our meal was excellent. Mussels were the best, as always. I will be returning regularly. Thanks Wine Country."

"Wine Country is arguably the best restaurant in town. While it is a bit on the pricey side, the food is spectacular and perfectly cooked with unique pairings. You do not leave stuffed, or hungry, but pleasantly satisfied. Also, the servers are very familiar with the wine list and what wine is suited for what dish. Likewise, in the bottle shop, the clerk was able to help me find a wine that suited my palate (to take home with me), and stayed within my budget. Great restaurant, great bottle shop. You can't go wrong."

"Wine Country Bistro was a very pleasant surprise for Valentine's Day. My fiancee and I very much enjoyed the food and our server was very helpful in his recommendations and very knowledgeable. It's not inexpensive, but the food was certainly high quality and worth its price."

"We attended on our anniversary evening. The wine list was great. The waitress wrote down my wife’s order wrong so the wrong food was delivered. To their credit they corrected it and once the salmon was delivered it was great. The flounder was good as well. The veggies were under cooked(and I like crunchy veggies) and under seasoned. The desserts were bland as well. The glass of Port that I had after dinner was full of sediment as they has not strained it. When I requested that it be strained it was done with a sigh of discontentment and an eye roll. Overall I will not be going back unless it is to purchase wine from the store. I have been a chef for over 12 years and was underwhelmed with the whole experence."

"Noise level in bar too much for any group older than thirty.service rather slow but it eas on weekend at 8. Still a 2 hour meal?. Was warned that duck breast eas rare,but did not know that also meant very tough and chewy,!"
