"I've arrived a bit late on a week night, so it wasn't overly crowded. A big plus for me as I was on crutches. The staff was very accommodating & made me feel very comfortable. Our eggplant appetizer was delicious. I had the veal parm for dinner & my husband had the salmon, both we very good. Our waiter was right on top of everything, made the evening enjoyable. I will recommend to others."

"Great experience at the restaraunt. But here is a tip. Use valet to park. The city of Ft. Lauderdale has a really bad system for keeping track of paid parking. You may end up with a huge parking bill at the end of the night."

"Since we were in the mood for Italian, we chose SoLita. It was definitely the right choice. The food was so delicious and authentic. The portions were huge, so it was definitely worth the money. We had the eggplant stack as an appetizer- AMAZING. For entrees we had the gnocchi and the linguine with clam sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. If you are looking for good Italian cuisine in a nice atmosphere, this is definitely the place."

"My visit was a disaster from the start. The valet was monotone, quite rude, did not greet in any regard, and outright demanded payment ("Eight dollars please"). We were then kept waiting for our table for 45 minutes, despite reserving. The hostess was courteous, but clearly in a bad situation with management providing poor direction (we had quite a while to observe this operation). When we were finally called for a table, the hostess started looking really lost mid-walk and left us standing in the middle of the dining room while she ran back to the podium to figure out which table was really ours. Ultimately, our final sitting place was directly underneath an air conditioner vent and freezing cold. First time I've ever left a restaurant."

"We have been to Solitas several times and I guess every place has off days. The waiter we had seemed eitheroverloaded, inexperienced or just not with it. I will note in order ..sat down no lights above us burned out (we sat outside) so he showed us on the menus the lights for viewing which wouldn't stay on, asked for an additional candle and that took 3 try's, the bread came with dipping oil and we asked 4 times for more oil.We asked for ice for our drinks that we got after asking a few more times.They brought the wrong salad and had to replace it.We finally got our meal which was great but frustrated so we took most of it home. They allow smoking outside tables,smoker a foot away. Not a happy trip this time."
