"This was our ladies bridge night out, there were 7 of us. Food delicious, able to accommodate, with knowledge, a diner with Celiac's.
Waitress friendly, as a quick with service as possible with 7, gave us all a nice time to chat between courses.
We were at a rectangle table, would be nice if they could have round tables for larger parties. there was an oval that they offered, which is for 6, so would have been a bit crowded with drinks and food"

"they wouldn't let me use my Restaurant.com gift certificate on Mother's day. They claimed they can't be used on major holidays. I disagree that Mother's day is a major holiday. It is a special occasion but whatever!"

"Considering it was Motners day and the crowds were in full force, dinner was excellent. Service a little slow due to the large number of patrons. But wait staff was pleasant Menu is a small menu and by 6:30 two of the items were sold out. What we did have was delicious. I had a whole broiled sea bass that was done to perfection. My wife had a pork souvlaki and that also was very good with giant size portion."

"Menu choices were limited. Pork souvlaki was dry, bland, tasteless and obviously cooked ahead of time and just reheated. roast potatos were dry and hard. Rack of lamb was served very rare, even though we asked for medium. Rice pilaf was ice cold on the plate. Pastitio was nuked in the microwave so it was dry and tasteless. Overall an extreemly bad choice of place for mother's day dinner. Perhaps they gave the regular chef the day off, and brought in a pinch hitter??"

"I didn't realize there was a difference on booking the reservation. I the future I will call instead of booking online, and ask for seating in the bar area. I liked the bar menu better and the vibe was a little more fun."

"I was pleased to see a variety of fish choices for those of us who no longer eat red meat. Our reception and service was very gracious and pleasant and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. We find that the menu is more sophisticated from the last time we came several years ago. There's a message at the bottom of the menu to please turn off cell phone- we very much appreciate this ! Dining should be about the meal- not distractions; our meal was delicious, even though we ordered too much food for two people."

"Ithaki came recommended by my MIL. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and had a comfortable noise level where my husband and I could easily talk to each other. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food and was even able to offer a wine suggestion as we did not recognize several of the Greek varieties. Our food came out quickly, was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The olive tampenade and fresh bread were a wonderful starter (I could have eaten it all night!) and the waitstaff were polite and efficient, offering more water when our cups were low and clearing plates and utensils after each course quickly, quietly and with a smile. Overall a very nice place to dine and we will not only go back, but recommend it to others."

"Esp. for a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant this strikes a nice balance between casual and upscale. I thought the food was wonderful and fresh, and while not inexpensive, it seemed worth the price for a nice post-concert experience. It's plenty spacious, as well, tho' I imagine in the summertime it fills up. We (two of us) came for an early dinner and had a mixed greens salad, the stuffed grape leaves appetizer, the feta, mushroom & feta-stuffed chicken breast, and lamb kabobs, and pistachio baklava with pistachio ice cream for dessert, and all were flavorful but not overseasoned. Very enjoyable."

"Ithaki is beautifully decorated with the perfect combination of warmth and chic. It is both cosy and light. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server Chris was fantastic. He was always close by and accessible. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for either a special occassion or anytime, depending on your dining budget. It was more expensive than anticipated from the information on this site. Two people, two drinks each, one appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert was $170 inluding tax and gratuity. It was a wonderful dining experience but not one my budget can manage as often as I would like!"

"Four of us enjoyed a delicious lunch at Ithaki amidst the beautiful flower arranged by the owner, Petros. He also came by to make sure all was perfect at our table. Luncheon is served in the bar area, and is bright and airy. There were specials of the day in addition to the regular, albeit somewhat limited, menu. Two of us had the salmon special and devoured each bit. The fish sandwich was perfectly prepared, and the Grek salad and mussels were enjoyed by the fourth person. Do not hesitate to go to Ithaki - its always delicious and pleasant."

"We ate in the bar area which we would prefer over dining room for a more standard night out as both menus are available in the bar. Nice tables there made it enjoyable as an alternative to just the bar seating dining room offered a more "date night" setting. Food was great- we tried 2 lamb dishes and grape leaves appetizer . Will definitely come back multiple times! Waitress was very attentive, helpful with menu suggestions, and pleasant. Their online booking system is a plus. Very much worth the drive!!"

"Though the name is Greek, this isn't simply your standard Greek fare. The cuisine is imaginative and beautifully prepared. We went up on a Friday night, and the weekly specials were just newly presented to the wait staff, so our server could speak with enthusiasm about all the specials. Were it possible, we would have tried everything, but there was only the two of us. We shared a tuna appetizer to start and one of us had the sirloin and the other a cod with truffled pea risotto. Everything was truly outstanding. We came away from our experience determined to come back, even though this restaurant is not near to us."

"The decorating was very modern and the ambiance was nice. Not a huge menu, kind of limited choices. The food was delicious, very flavorful and nicely plated. We waited a bit when we got there to be noticed and there was no one else there. The waitress at the bar saw us, but just kept letting us stand there, we almost left because of that."

"Celebrated Valentine's Day with a romantic dinner in a beautiful setting. All the ingredients are there for a very wonderful evening. On another occasion, dined with my brother and his wife and the setting was also suited for the occasion. High end dining with superb food which has been thoughtfully prepared. Ingredients are top quality."

"This review is difficult to make since we didn't even have dinner there after all. We have always loved this restaurant and even had our wedding reception here. I called ahead to make sure they were having the regular menu and not a limited menu. However, when we arrived (on Valentine's Day) for a special dinner, they told us, at 8 pm, that they were out of Moussaka. And they did not have the filet mignon that was on their regular menu, and that I was looking forward to eating. The waitress told us there was a limited menu, and when I looked at it, I saw lamb, which i don't like, and the rest of the entrees were fish, which i also don't like. There was no beef dish, no chicken dish, no vegetarian dish. So, my husband and I left."

"Great food but we had to wait for 40 minutes to get our food. Seemed a bit long especially since we had a reservation. Also, it was too bad that in such a nice space they felt the need to introduce a bunch of tv screens - that cheapened the whole experience a bit."

"The service was very poor, we were 17' late for our reservation. (6:00 p.m. arrived 6:17) and hence we were told to rush because the table was reserved for 7:30!!!!
The food wasn't good and the environment very noise.
This was my last visit to Ithaki. I have been visiting the place frequently for the last 5 years and I noticed that in the last two years the restaurant is not what use to be! The food is not as good as use to be, the service is inappropriate for such an establishment and the prices are getting to high for the quality of the food the environment and the service."

"We arrived on time for our reservation and were told nicely that we might need to wait a few minutes for our table. Ten minutes later, the chef/owner came out to apologize and treated our party of four to a round of drinks. After we were seated and asked our waiter a few questions about the menu, the chef/owner came back with tastes of the items we had asked about. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, and the food was spectacular. We had such a great time that we were the last table out. Our first time eating at Ithaki, and we will definitely be back!"

"Foor was way far above any typical Greek or Eastern Mediterranean restaurant. The kitchen was most kind in preparing a side of steamed beets that were not on the menu, but one of us asked about them. The lamb was some of the best I've ever tasted.
Server, Katrina, was a delight !"

"The food at Ithaki is creative and wonderfully prepared. While salad is hard to get excited over, the Greek salad is always incredibly fresh, flavorful and wonderfully presented. We had the salmon special with feta gnocchi was cooked perfectly and delicious! Great place!"
