"Very dissatisfied with our food and presentation. I used to dine at Nobu quite a lot in Dallas and went back with client I felt embarrassed for taking them here. I will keep my Nobu trips for other cities since after eating here needs to be closed down. Warm sashimi is never good."

"Order the tasting menu and the first cold raw fish entrees are sublime.But the signature black cod a little sweet for some, the beef terriyaki unexceptional,, the sushi selection unappealing tne the dessert (molten chocolate cake and green eat ice cream) simply weird. But while you are chasing very thinly sliced cucumbers around your plate with chopsticks, you can enjoy the unexpected sight of good old boys at the sushi bar."

"We had a wonderful evening, but I didnt really enjoy meals coming at sporadic times. Some of us were finished as others were only half done. However, the food was delicious and so beautifully presented. I also think our waiter, although friendly and prompt, became overloaded with many tables and wasnt very attentive to our table.He forgot a few small things like rice. By the time I even saw a person to ask about it, I was finished with my meal :(( Oh well, we will come again. thank you"

"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful celebratory dinner here. The server offered to have the chef select the courses. We did this in order to try new things that they considered best. We were VERY happy. It was the best dinner I've ever had. My boyfriend agrees. Great service, delicious and creative food without it trying too hard as it does at some places. It's a nice, yet unpretentious scene. The server helped select excellent wine and cocktails. It was an all around great experience. I won't tell you what I liked best, because you can't go wrong!"

Our Waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly, but some courses came at 5 minute intervals and others at hour intervals with no explanation. For this kind of money, I expect measured consistent service and don't ever expect to be craning my neck around looking for the waiter for an explanation of why the food has not arrived yet. It appeared that they needed more waiters."

"Nobu Dallas is definitely one of our favorite places for special occasions - this time for my daughter's 21st Birthday. As always, the food was outstanding, with the one caveat being the lobster ceviche. It was over-dressed and that masked the flavor of the lobster, which I suspect sat awhile after plating, as the lobster had gotten chewy and dense. Sad. Everything else, from the new style Salmon sashimi to the fried Rock Shrimp in spicy creamy sauce, was stellar. And truly sublime was the "special green roll" that our sever surprised us with. We are going back soon, just for that. Mochi ice cream and miso cappuccino were fun and delightful ways to finish the evening. All in all, another great visit, even though service was slow."

"We were seated in the patio room which is very nice but the lighting was sub-par. Ceiling fixtures are lamped with high-end AR-111 bulbs, but they are not setup correctly for the tables. Ideally, lighting should be focused to the table, with reflected ambient light illuminating the guests. The top of my head was lit, but the table and my wife across from me were in the dark. There is no excuse for poor lighting at any table in a $10million restaurant interior, especially at these prices. Food was innovative and good, but extremely overpriced. I ordered Toro Nigiri which was very small, and too low in fat to be graded Toro. $28.00 for two bites, and the tone was set. Wife had $48 lobster salad which was good but too tough."

Restaurant promptly addressed the issue and removed the dish from our check. If we just stuck to cold dishes featuring fresh fish, we would conclude that the food was fenomenal. Lamb kind of put a little damper at first. But then later in the evening we decided to come back to Nobu again to have more of those tasty cold dishes. Our waiter was also awesome. We just let him pick various dishes for us. Not having to make choices during romantic dinner took all the stress out of the experience and made the over all experience great."

"Went for my wife's birthday. We had the top Omakase (tasting menu). Fun way to dine if you like to try a lot of different things. Don't miss the Toro Tartar with caviar or the Wagyu Beef (melts in your mouth)! Prices are on the high side, but worth it. Decent sake/cocktail/wine/booze list. Our waiter Silvio was very helpful with everything and also took care of some special dietary needs. My wife really enjoyed her birthday dinner!"
