Great appetizers such as black pepper shrimp, pastas, steaks, chops and seafood cover just about everyone's dining wants and desires. Along with our main floor seating we offer two distinctive rooms seating up to 50 guests that can accommodate just about any event from wedding rehearsal dinners to graduations. Our French doors spill out onto our beautiful ivy covered patio, perfect for listening to live music in the evenings or meeting up with friends for a quiet lunch. Ivy can just about compliment any event.

"Lovely restaurant, good service. Our son is a student at Wheaton College, and we go to the Ivy whenever we are in town. Our last visit was on mother's day for a special brunch, and our food was cold. None of us wanted to be a complainer on mother's day, and no one mentioned it until we were on the way home, but all four of us commented that our brunch was cold - even the plates were cold to the touch. I wish we would have mentioned while we were dining, but no one wanted to spoil the celebration."

"This was a first time visit to Ivy, recommended by a friend. I had the Ahi Tuna salad and it was EXCELLENT with slices of ginger and not too much dressing. I had lunch with 6 ladies, all of our food was great, great service and the outside dining was perfect. Overall would definitely come here again for a nice luncheon or any other event."

"Ivy's has it all! The selections on the menu vary from season to season, but always include something special along with traditional items. The food is always well-prepared and delicious. The building is beautiful inside and includes spaces for private events. The outside patio is lovely and relaxing, and often features musicians. Dick and Carol are friendly and welcoming - we are always treated like a special guest, and the service is excellent. You can't go wrong."

"The food is superb and superbly prepared! You cannot leave without having the Parmesan Crusted Tomatoes! They are very accomodating and have amazing lunch sandwiches as well as entrees. You have to go and enjoy this converted chapel inside and out!"

"I've never had something I didn't like at Ivy! The service is excellent. We had a large group and it was the perfect place for our celebration. The restaurant is quiet so it was easy to hear everyone at our table. I would reccommend it highly."

"The Patio was full and music was playing....
We couldn't be seated on the patio as it was full so we were seated inside, which was fine.
It took the server a full 10 minutes before she came to greet us.
She was less than engaging! When asked any questions, her response was , "i'll check with Chef"...we never heard "chef's" responses to our questions.
Our beverage glasses were never refilled and we had to stop bus boys to request water.
She did not deliver our food and never checked on us after it was served. We had to send for her to get our check.
The table next to us had a different server. He was wonderful and so attentive to his table.
Not sure where our server went, but she was MIA!"

"As a professional chef, I have to say that I would highly reccommend this restaurant to all my friends. I live in Mt. Prospect and choose this restaurant based on reviews. I met a friend from St Charles there so neither of us were from the area.
Our server was outstanding. Very polite, well informed, and perfectly attentive. The presentation of the food was very nice, the quality and portions were right on. I will definitely be returning. Job well done!!!!"

"This was our first visit to Ivy and we were worried that they were not open due to the floods. Everything was very nice. We all enjoyed our meals and the carpaccio appetizer which all 4 of us shared. The food is tasty and attractively presented. The portions are not outrageous, but even so, I had to bring half my dinner home. The ambiance of the restaurant is what makes the whole effect perfect."

Ribs and fish special were well prepared and delicious. Desserts (key lime pie and creme brulle) were not impressive, but the raspberry sorbet was spot on. Overall, an enjoyable evening. "Food is excellent, our service was poor. Finished plates were not removed until our main course was delivered. We had to request everything, including water refills, and the server seemed put off by basic requests and would walk off in a huff. The restaurant was not busy. We felt rushed with paying our check and then realized when we saw our server putting on her coat that she wanted to leave. the restaurant was still open. This place has really great food and a nice ambiance, but service inconsistent. We've had wonderful attentive servers, and then this one and one other that made us feel like an afterthought. We were seated near the kitchen, and once again we had to listen to loud singing and whistling."

You can feel free to recommend the Ivy in Wheaton, IL as a wonderful dining experience. For a party of 4, and with liberal cocktails and an appetizer for the table, our bill was very reasonable, per diner. AND, my request for a comfortable corner booth to accommodate my 90-year old dad's frail (formerly broken) back was honored AND they set the table so beautifully for his wedding anniversary, right down to the "happy anniversary" table cloth. It was a wonderful experience. Now, it's a "go to" whenever we dine in Wheaton."

"I brought three friends with me who had not been to Ivy before. Three of us had the lamb chop lunch entree and the price amazed them. All said they want to come back and one of them is considering having a family graduation celebration in the patio room. "Celebrated a friend's birthday here and the interior is very nice. The acoustics make for a hollow, noisy atmosphere and it wasn;'t crowded when we were there. However, the architecture and wood accents are beautiful.My friend ordered a lunch special of scallops and they were huge.She said they were delicious as were the delightful assortment of vegetables. My order of blackened chicken on linguine was a bit disappointing. The noodles were not linguine noodles, the sauce heavy and tasteless and the chicken did not taste fresh. On a positive note, the chicken noodle soup was superb; flavorful and hearty. I have always wanted to try this restaurant and was disappointed in my main lunch entree."

"We had the fried calamari as an appetizer and it was terrific. My wife had the lobster, shrimp pasta and my daughter had the pumpkin ravioli. Both said they were excellent. I had the grilled sea food platter. To someone from the East Coast, two shrimp, a silver dollar sized crab cake, and a small piece of salmon, is not a sea food platter. Call it something else."

"Food was meh... not super pricey but the price to quality value on the items presented was lacking. Blackened Shrimp Appetizer was excellent and it went downhill from there. Almond crusted brie was decent, I had the Lobster Parppadelle which had almost no lobster and should be called Shrimp Parppadelle in Lobster Sauce. Overall it was weak and bland. My wife had the Ciopinno which was mediocre not enough seafood and too much wine in the broth. Deserts were also weak Chocolate Cake with Hazelnut frosting was lame there was no hazelnut flavor to the frosting Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding was also weak. Service was decent and ambience was nice. They could have a better craft beer list as there wasnt a single IPA"
