"This restaurant is not in a good spot. Although the service was very good, the overall setting needs improvement. We had our Mother's Day lunch and it was not pleasant. Perhaps this location comes alive during the night but not evident during lunch."

"I am a restaurant manager of 20 years and a foodie. On May 11th, I took my mother out for an early Mother's Day dinner. Overall, we were disappointed. The calamari was fresh but had no seasoning or flavor. But the biggest disappointment was the Lobster Mac & Cheese. As a featured item, I expected something better. I was surprised to find it was nothing more than mac & cheese (that I might feed my kids) with pieces of lobster. Cooking is taking raw ingredients and marrying the flavors so that they're transformed into something greater than their sums. Take Spanish Paella for instance. Your dish was just tossed together. I'd gladly pay $30 for a real dish; but this was a joke. Considering hiring a chef who knows how to cook!"

"Service was awkward. Our server spoke very loudly almost in a yelling voice. Lobster bisque was horrible, not a bisque at all! My father ordered the Delmonico steak entree which came with Mac and cheese. It was horrible! No flavor what so ever and my father didn't even eat it. I had the New York strip steak which was cooked to a perfect medium rare ( how I ordered it) but the creamed spinach was not good at all. It was not very creamy and had a taste of old bay seasoning. I didn't eat it. Overall I would not return to this restaurant. It was over priced and the food was below average!"

"Upon entry the feel is that of a "has been" restaurant hanging on in hard times. The bar was empty -- no bartender. The decor felt dull &used. The hostess was pleasant and acknowledged the OpenTable reservation taking us to a nice table near the front. The main dining hall is sparsely furnished and acoustically reverberated every footfall and silverware-to-plate contact. At the table next to us a rude mother continually corrected her on-vacation young sons in a loud voice that carried everywhere in the room. Our server was pleasant and informed but spoke in a voice so loud he could have been talking to us and diners in the back of the room simultaneously. Food excellent but only luke-warm, rolls burnt on the bottom."

"The crabcakes, lobster and filet were all very good. The asparagus not cooked enough and cold as was the rice. Salad needs improving just lettuce and tomato, blue cheese dressing tasted like it had horseradish added. Vegetables should be on side plates as liquid from lobster is in plate. Complimentary dessert very good, our waitress Tiffany was very attentive. It is much too loud."

"Great place for fish! The Dover Sole was delicious and so were the Crab Legs! Steaks are good and steak combo's are very nice. It is a small place so make reservations ahead. You won't be disappointed.It is not as load and crowded as some in the area. It is a must place to go for any occasion."

"The Lobster Pot Bistro was a big disappointment! The dining room had no views of the beach & we were seated at a 20"x 24" table that was seperated from the adjoining tables by a curtain that made you feel like you were dining in your shower. My wife had to ask for 2 new forks because both had mangled teeth and all the utensils were water spotted. My Calamari appetiser was "rubbery" and the rolls were nothing more than what you would get at any grocery store. My wife ordered the surf-n-turf "special" that was suppose to have a coffee encrusted fillet that was just plain. My NY Strip came with creamed spinach that was bitter and garlic mashed potatoes (you couldn't order a baked potato). We chalked the evening up to a $150 learning experience"
