We are proud to announce the opening of the brand new concept GREAT MAPLE: Libations and Seasonal Plates. GREAT MAPLE is a simple declaration of appreciation for Seasonal Produce, Responsible Fishing, and Farm Fresh Meats. Because of our love and respect for these great gifts of nature, we pledge to "protect and serve" as we create an atmosphere of conversation and libation for our guests. "We were seated on the patio as I requested at 6:30. We waited for a server to wait on us for at LEAST 15 minutes. When noone had shown up by then------no waters, no hello I'll be right with you etc.--------we left. As we were leaving, the hostess led a couple to our table & reseated it! CLUELESS! Ended up at the Food Court at 5 Guys! Will NEVER go back."

"I went to Great Maple for the first time this week and loved it! The atmosphere was great & the food was fantastic! I was with a group of 6 people for lunch. We started with the portobello mushroom fries and the cheese board. The fries were surprisingly good and the sauce served with them was perfect. Even people at the table who don't really like cheese enjoyed the cheese board! I had the Moroccan spiced lamb burger with fries. I was pleased when the waiter said that was the best thing on the menu. My coworkers were all happy with their food, too. I'll be back!"

"Located in an upscale shopping center, Great Maple was a pleasant surprise the first time we ate there. Good choices for everyone from beautiful salads to ribs to my favorite, turkey bolognese pasta. It's impossible to find pastas without shellfish or red meat in the sauce. This is a delicious dish made even healthier by the addition of carrots. My husband had the ribs and loved them. They have a good wine and beer selection."

"I have been going to Fashion Island for more than thirty years and have been to all the restaurants that have come and gone over the years. I was looking forward to my visit to your restaurant. The service was excellent....the noise level outside was "noisy." I was disappointed in my chicken cobb salad."

"We have been to this place a few other times and have had spectacular service and food. This time was nothing but a disappointment. The waiter was very rude, and just didn't seem to care. We were seated inside where the noise level was so high you had to practically yell across the table in order to hear anyone talk. That I don't care about. But the waiter just really didn't seem to care, or want to help. I had to ask for lemons 4 times, everyone ordered a drink, plus glasses of water. The waters were never filled more then once. He never came by to check on us and see how our meal was or anything. I had to ask one of the bus guys to please get me a larger glass of water. As well as ask for lemons since our waiter didn't want to..."

"Normally, we love Great Maple and I was really looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately, this was not a stellar example of Great Maple. So even great places can have off days. About the food, the biggest complaint was the fish and chips, when they were presented at our table they weren't hot and crisp, they were warm and a little soggy. We also ordered the Brat and a Pretzel bun and when it arrived the brat was hot, but the bun was soggy, which made it a little unpleasant to eat. We also ordered the Chopped salad and it was fine. We'll still go back because we know how good it usually is."

"I've been here a few times and the food is always pretty good, but the service usually leaves something to be desired. It took a while to take our orders. But the problem was that when our order a brought, it was wrong. Our fries weren't brought, there was tomato when we asked for none, there was no mayo on the side like requested, and when the food was brought there was no request to get us another drink. The waitress didn't come over again until we were 85% done with our food."

"I would love to give them 5 stars, because their food is so yummy, But our waiter was terrible. It was over 5 minutes till we got the initial first greet, took awhile for drinks a glass of wine and a soda. I think between our drinks getting dropped off and us ordering was 20 minutes. The waiter took forever to take our order. When we asked what the soup of the day he didn't know. I asked for a glass of water 3 times. Food was great, ahi salad , truffle fries and a flat bread pizza. I've been here many times and service is always good. Maybe the waiter was just having a bad day. But if we get him again we would request a different server. Maybe he was just having a bad day?"

"Way too loud for 7 people to hear inside. We switched to a smaller table outside and that was fine, but then we were cold. We all liked the food,but I ordered a drink that I saw was $10 online and it wasn't on the menu and they charged me $12. Food prices seemed high too."

"Nice lunch spot if you're shopping at Fashion Island and/or for a central location for a casual business lunch. The menu is diverse and portions are generous, it was hard to choose what we wanted which is a good problem to have! "My husband and I were looking for a date night and thought Great Maple would fit the bill. We have been to the bar for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and were impressed enough to try it for date night...not the best idea we have ever had. They sat us at a two top table that was so close to the next table the server couldn't fit between the tables. “They had lots of reservations and that was the best they could do.” Disappointing! In addition, the food wasn't very good. The sauce of the ribs probably came out of a can and the cheese on the spinach salad was cut up processed cheese...again, disappointing, especially for the cost. We still had a great time due to the company, but won't be going back."

"The vension chili was great however the grilled cheese sandwich it was served with lacked flavor. The turkey burger was okay but having to pay for a tiny cup of onions was a joke. The onion rings are nothing special but the dipping sause was good. They appear to have a well stocked bar with a lot of specialty drinks but they don't have rye so it isn't really that well stocked."
