"Hands down the worst dining experience of my life. The wine list was limited and extremely expensive. We showed up at 730 but the place was nearly empty. When we tried ordering they were sold out of our first 3 choices. Our waiter was very obviously stoned and came back to our table 2 separate times to confirm our order because he neglected to write it down. After ordering we waited for over 50 minutes for our appetizers to arrive, at which point we were so disheartened with the place that we asked the manager to bring us the check for the wine and sodas, and instead of apologizing he gave us more attitude than a whiny teenager and initially refused our request. For such an expensive restaurant on Father's Day it was a huge disappointment."

"It was a HOT MESS. First of all it was a Forest Hill Day which was lovely but my friend and I wanted to sit inside since it was a little muggy outside. While all the windows and door was open. Maybe you thought they cranked up the A/C to compensate …..Well of course they did not! so I suggested that we sit outside and enjoy the show since it is the same climate inside and out. Now Here was the CATCH this place is Called AGED ( STEAKHOUSE ) well when I received my paper menu there was no steak so I asked if I could get the full menu since I didn’t view it on the paper menu. You should know I was floored that they would not being serving steak till after 4pm.
Hmm will I go Back …….?"

"I came here with my family for my graduation dinner. The food was really good, but it wasn't amazing. Considering the price, I thought it would be outstanding, but it was still a good dinner. I'll most likely come back, just not for their lobster or pasta. The creme brulee there was great though!"

"The quality of the restaurant was not bad for a place in queens, but they are charging city prices without the location, clientele, or quality of food and service. I would not recommend this restaurant, not because of the quality, but rather for the price. Similar quality can be find in many other restaurants in queens, for a fraction of price."

"We were in town from San Francisco for one night. The airport hotel recommended Aged. We sat outside, it was a beautiful evening. Brought our own wine, $25 corkage fee. Jessica greeted us as our server, she was DELIGHTFUL!!! We started with Blue Point Oysters, they were really big and very tasty. We shared the Porterhouse Steak, had the Chimichurri sauce and the Cheese sauce. I'd highly recommend the Chimichurri sauce. Although the steak was good, I was hoping it would have had more flavor. Get the Lava cake, to die for! And thanks to Jessica for the extra whipped cream!!! Lol!!!"

"I used to love this restaurant when they first opened but now it's as if they've gotten too big to care. The last time I wast there the waiter told us that they were busy and the wait for the food was going to be about 30 minutes. We didn't mind, however it actually took them over an hour and a half to get our food out. The service has become horrible and the foods not as good as it used to be."

"My fiancee and I were looking to take our mother's out for mother's day brunch the day before mother's day. Apparently, brunch is only held on Sunday's by many restaurants, but not Aged. They have brunch til 3pm and it is delicious!!!!!For $14, you get a choice of an entree and a free cocktail. Very filling and very good. Can't wait to go back for their lunch and dinner menus."

"Cute little place; we hopefully booked their prix-fixe brunch. Waitperson sweetly tried; kitchen tried and failed. Badly micromanaged, by the sort of useless manager who merely gets in the way. Strongarmed into sitting outside although it wasn't quite warm enough; mgr. then tried to turn a pleasant small sidewalk seating area into an onstreet cocktail lounge with blaring canned music from his iPod attached to a portable speaker (other diners asked him to turn it down). Waited 40 minutes for a mediocre sandwich and an underdone burger; fruit salad side dish looked "ABC"; drinks were both so dismal we left them on the table after tasting. Oddly enough, delicious dark-roast coffee was the only highlight. Inexperienced, overwhelmed young staff."

"I will not be returning, there are far too many better restaurants. I had some friends come in from out of town and we wanted to enjoy a nice night out but, that certainly was not the case. The beer was warm, the waitress was clueless, none of the food was prepared as ordered as well as not being brought out to the table in order and they also forgot one dish which we had to point out to them. Save your money folks, I learned my lesson."

"Busy place, we were seated next to the bar , basically having dinner with another couple, very close quarters, expensive for very small portion of the tiniest shrimp i ever saw., we both had steak very fatty. for 140 without tip, not a great way to spend my hard earned money.would not visit again..although i have to say the service was great too bad it was wasted on (not so great food)"

"I went to Aged for brunch. Based on my previous experience, I was expecting excellent service and great food. neither occurred. Our brunch order took almost a half hour to get to our table. While we waited, we were not offered any bread and had to flag our server down to get an update on our food. When the food did arrive, my sister's order was incorrect and had to be redone. In addition, we were not all served at the same time. I had the vanilla pancakes. They were not hot, tough and did not seem to have a lot of "vanilla flavor" to the pancakes. After we were served, our server did not come over to check on us. Although we were given champagne, I did not enjoy my meal. We will not have brunch there again."

"We liked the salad. The popcorn shrimp was soggy with oil and not cooked in hot oil. I had lamb chops, not memorable and my husband had a steak. It was not an upscale experience but okay."

"I made luncheon reservations and opted for their 3-course special ($14.95) just to be informed that their dessert selection on the lunch menu (ice cream/sorbet) were not available. No problem, you think management would ratify by offering a same value subsitute? But of course not! We were quickly told that there would be no substitutions. The Maitre d sent word through the waiter that we'd have to SHARE a dessert. It wasn't like the price of the chocolate cake offered superceded that of their ice cream scoop/sorbet ($6) but management was unapologetic and unaccommodating for THEIR short. Needless to say, I won't be dining again at Aged, Forest Hills. So much for supporting local restaurants during their low peak lunch hour."

"The restaurant is comparable to the good restaurants in Manhattan but less expensive. Still it's costly enough to save for special occasions. Of note are the "starters";(Mussels Luciano, Crab Cakes, Crispy Tuna...) very fresh, perfectly cooked, arranged and combined with superbly prepared, drizzled complimentary sauces. Their raw oysters were flawless, very fresh and clean. Their wine list was servicable, a good compliment to both their seafood and meat offerings, and affordable. The young staff is friendly and attentive.
A second accolade is their choice of music which is conducive for dining. Can't say the same of a restaurant, "Cabana", couple doors down which blasts you with Hard Rock, etc. and makes conversation impossible."
